Pep Guardiola wants League Cup to be scrapped to ease fixture congestion
- Manchester City manager says schedule is causing injuries
- ‘Less games, less competitions, more quality, less quantity’

At least when he plays in it though he treats it with respect and does his utmost to win it (usually successfully).

Managers moan saying it shouldn't be for teams from the top flight - if you don't like it just play your U23s and shut up moaning

Absolutely.
Moyes and Klopp crying about the fixture pile up because they have rarely had this many games. They knew the score in August. If you want to win cup trophies you have to play more games. And that might involve replays and rearranging fixtures to have more congestion later in the season. We've been remarkably successful in going deep in all three cups over the last few years. We've won a good number and been unlucky in others. That's the battle and nature of the game

But one thing we as a club have done is not moan, gave it our all and just got on with it. To win trophies you have to push yourself and go the hard yards. I have zero sympathy for a club in a semi final moaning about it

I think they’ve got a trophy that No Prem teams care about. Vans trophy?

Piss poor. The defender got there but made no attempt to block the shot.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Been watching for 15 minutes and haven’t got a clue what the Rags are trying to do. Good goal from them but I don’t think they even know how they got there.

Their defence still looks a shambles, Burnley have had a couple of chances but their ‘less than one goal’ a game stats do show have poor they are.

Get rid of the LC so they can plough ahead with the ESL or some meaningless friendly in Singapore.

Champion just told the whole world that the Glazers haven’t spent a penny on the stadium and that’s why the roof leaks in the Stratford End. He won’t be commentating again any time soon.

But still the legs to bamboozle Burnley. Time for them to get relegated.

Can't believe the luck these cnts carry.
Mon night lucky rebound then mis kick for a goal.
Tonight shite control from tranny turns into perfect pass to fkn mctominay.
Next 2 burnley players tackle each other handing the ball to the scum who score a deflected goal.
Now they've just scored again off a lucky rebound off the post straight to tranny. Cavani was offside when the original shot came in.

These cnts are utter fkn garbage.

Just one arsehole of a fkn club.

I’m still trying to figure out their play. It’s either kick it long or muddle through and hope for a bit of luck/mistake.

Pretty quiet at the Swamp, sounds like they’ve drafted in the local old peoples home to try and pad out their support

No way do you go down with a slight touch on your neck. They’re now happy to play this one out and if it includes time wasting, they’re happy.

Ben Mee denies ;-)

They always give it the Big One but I cannot remember Tranny scoring that many from a free kick.
