Sounds like we were in total control.

We were. As soon as we went 1-0 up I knew it was game over. We never went out of third gear, and still we had like 85% possession.

I’ve just watched the highlights and Sterling looked like he was involved in everything positive.

Haha, I’m being genuine for once. His cut back to Kev for the first was great. Seemed like a lot went through his side.

Always prefer him on the right and he seems to have got some confidence back, boosted by the England game.

Watched the dippers game, I just don't understand why they are where they are, don't play constructive football, percentage football with fast balls into the penalty area. Reminds me of the Tommy Doherty rag team of the 70's, they had fast wingers got the ball in the box, causing confusion and getting fortunate bounce of the ball.
We should batter these twats with proper football

Aymeric Laporte has set a new Premier League record!
The City defender made his 100th Premier League appearance in our 2-0 win against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

And the victory takes the total number of points he has collected in in that period to 254 – more than any other player has managed in their first 100 games in the competition.

That’s eight ahead of the previous best of 246 points, which had been set by Didier Drogba at Chelsea and then equalled by Ederson after his arrival at City in 2017.

Nice stat. I also like the 22 stat, such a wonderful number ;-)

Win our next game and we are mathematically certain to finish ahead of the rags yet again. Seems to get earlier each year

What a shit heap turf moor is. One toilet wtaf is that about. We never got out of 2nd gear, got the crucial early goal and that was what we needed after the international break. Sterling was on fire in the furst half and gave the full back hell. Shouts out to Ake thought it was his best game for us, Rodri who was at the heart of everything ang Mr Whippy he never gives the ball away and is always available. Grealish was a nuisance and is starting to settle into the system which is a bonus. Onwards to Tuesday

I've just said in the other thread that the BBC don't award the motm but player ratings are given by the public so it is just a popularity contest at best.

Should have beaten them in dipperland. Played them off the pitch first half. Only reason they got a point was because Salah vs best full back in the world was no contest. Salah is the one we always seem to struggle with but his form seems to have gone to shit. Even so, our left side needs to be Dias, Cancelo and Foden. We all know Cancelo can't defend. Laporte has a tendency to play a shit ball into midfield at least once a game which puts us under pressure and Sterling frequently loses the ball high up the pitch. Our left side is where its won or lost for me. If the players are available, no brain farts.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Full of Dipper/Rag/Arse fans voting every player down. Probably didn’t bother with the subs. Very childish, but I do like to have a go myself, on occasions ;-)

Foden has to play over there to cover. I can see mahrez playing right side. Unless we play sterling as a false 9 I don't see him starting against scouse regardless of his recent form. These fuckers rely on loose balls we all know this so expect us to set up to keep the ball and that means no Sterling fir me

I'd stick Kev at false 9 with Whippy in mid. Ball retention is crucial and I think we keep it better with Gundo in there.
