Man united is more your kind of team with an attitude like that. This club stands for something. I'll win or lose with that please.

Your attitude stinks.

We're on track to win the league as it is. Without the cunt. He doesn't guarantee us anything. On the contrary, he's a potential disaster with all his baggage. Think about it for one second, the media alone would go postal.

Would I celebrate a crucial goal he scored for MCFC? You fucking bet I would. But then I'd kiss his bloody scarred face if (fuck this word) he restored world peace. That's not the point tho is it. The point is, would you take the risk taking this cancer back just because there's an outside chance that he would actually be decisive in winning the title? The risk being that he would fuck us over yet again & end up costing us an excellent league campaign (that's 19-3-3 so far for all you moaning, whinging sacks of shit out there).

Fuck no.

Even letting aside "Fuck morals, fuck principles, fuck hatred", if anything is bright a sunlight is that the cunt is a BRAINLESS TOOL of his criminal "agent."

I consider Tevez to be the biggest threat to our title challenge. He (and his snake of an agent) could very well lose us the league through their antics. Keep the little cunt as far away from the first team as possible and off-load in the summer. Preferably over the side of a ship.

We're doing very well without him. If it's not broke........

You are hinting that we've had some high moral principles in the past. What might those be?

In fact, you could say that fuck letting some fucking rag cunts fuck this club over. Attitude like that has never won the league. Let's stick to our principles, like we have during this table topping season, and see if they can win us the title.

Sound post by CityGer there in the last page by the way. Agree with that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

See, for me this is a key point

Can someone tell me precisely how this unfit shitbag will make this team we have got today any better? We have got where we are without him. This huge assumption that certain people are making, i.e. that we need him to win the league, is fundamentally flawed. He has contributed precisely NOTHING to this season. Why should that change? A striker who has not scored for his club for nine months improves us how exactly? And he has not kicked a ball in five months, meaning he has had about as much match practice as Owen Hargreaves, which is to say not a right lot.

And even if you could guarantee us winning the league by playing him (which clearly you can't), I don't want him at the club under any circumstances.

I'd rather see young Bunn in the team than him. I'd rather see any random YTS lad in the team than carlos tevez.

You lot can think what you like, but I know what my philosophy is. And it is not "win at all costs".

Some sanity at last...I agree with this 100%.

Mancini runs the team. If he wants to use Tevez, then that's up to him. It doesn't matter what we think, he won't be asking us. We either back what he does, or cause shit & help the rags win the title.

Quite right Ted, the last thing we need as we reach the hime straight of the season is anything that destabilises what we are hoping to achieve.
Bob isn't an idiot and has been round the block a few times, he will have his finger on the pulse and know what is needed. I can't see him doing anything that will risk our chances on the field, nor adversely affect team morale.
As Bob has stated, the ball is firmly in Tevez's court. Bob has set an apology as an entrance fee it is now up to Tevez to decide whether he is willing to pay it.

We have to remember that it is Bob's job that is on the line if he fucks up. Let's just see what Tevez has to say when his interview is shown at 6pm on Sky.

who has said "we need Carlos to win the league"?

i can't recall reading it stated that simply.

i for one am FEARFUL that if we don't get some execution in front of goal, we'll be BEGGING for a player to create something from nothing which only Balo and Tevez can do on this roster. Kun seems capable but really needs feeding, which isn't a criticism at all, but just a fact. He's more of a team player.

either way, i don't think we need Tevez to win the league, but i hope we aren't in a position 3 matches from now to feel like Mancini feels like we might. Make sense?

cheers

I think that many of the views expressed on here are spot on from a fan’s point of view – but surely that is not what this latest twist is all about???

CITY have ‘played this situation’ very well and got to a point where we are in a much stronger position than I thought that we would get to. We have to carry on playing it very well to ensure that we maintain the high ground, do not let the twat get his way and do not let some cuntish organisation (like AC Milan) can take advantage of us. To do that we must not leave ourselves open to any evidence of breaking contract or employment law.

It is clear that Tevez has been very badly advised. His ‘advisor’ must have convinced him that CIY would buckle and he would get a few months in Argentina, on full pay followed by a cut-price transfer and a big signing-on fee.

Clearly that would have been the outcome if they were dealing with people less professional and hard-nosed as Khaldoon – whom seems to have played this expertly. This is not a Bobby decision – this is a main board strategy and they should be applauded – Bobby will be under some instructions I am sure as to what he is needed to do/say (and not to do/say).

So Tevez has had to swallow and crawl back – this is (I am sure) reality sinking in that we will go all the way and the only way he is going to get any earnings is to get back in line with his contractual obligations. This is what he is doing and he will not have a leg to stand on until he can demonstrate that he is turning up on time etc and acting in a way that he is clearly responding to the direction of the club and manager.

We need to manage things very careful – and especially not be vulnerable to a claim that we are not holding our side of the contractual obligations.

Now this might seem to a lot of fans as some kind of ‘giving in’ – likely nothing could be further from the truth.

I have previously thought (based on quite a lot of relevant experience) that we will end up folding – and I am just staggered with pride at what our team has achieved. We should all (IMO) accept that whatever CITY do in this affair is part of a careful strategy that will see us in good stead and our reputation enhanced. I am sure there must have been lots of behind the scenes discussions with the PFA, FA and UeFA as well as the best of legal advice taken.

Lets leave it to the experts – they have done superbly so far it seems.

"The more you handle pitch, the more you become besmirched by it" is an old saying which, IMHO, is valid today with regard to Tevez.

We should steer well clear of this Argentinian idiot and don't give him any chance to spread his poison within the Club.

I'd say we should give him a chance. Tevez is a great striker, in my opinion on par with Aguero. He is much better than Balo and Dzeko. He also can give us an option for the free kicks. If he is paired with Aguero, both of them will create a lot of space for each other. If he really wants to make it up to the club, let him play. It's a win-win. We will benefit from him only if he is on the pitch.
