Although a walk in the past for Carl might bring back the old times. When you look at how City's owners have not only taken City to the top, but also set up a fantastic sports and events infrastructure.Especially with the North Stand soon opening up and the fantastic hotel and fans zones soon opening up. It is absolutely necessary to break the red cartel and the PL admin higherarchy. Even if it means tolerating the VAR , endless late sunday games for the travelling fans and so on. Onwards and upwards i say. , nail 'em up !.

Maybe you were in the minority as we had one of the highest turnout of fans in football in England back then (week in and week out ) and everyone around me enjoyed themselves.
Back then, it was all about the day out with proper mates, the atmosphere, and supporting the club through thick and thin—not just fucking glory hunting.

Absolutely, it's a huge problem.

Being a young teenager going to the match with your mates and not your mam and dad was a great coming of age ritual and it got you hooked, even the big matches were accessible for a reasonable price too.

FFW to todays abomination of a ticketing fiasco and you have to pay £35 for a chance (Just a chance) to get in to see a B rated game whilst ALL of the A games have been taken up by official touts, if the club carry on with this policy our core support would have disappeared in a decade from now.

Just for a reference, the average age of a Chelsea SC holder is 59, that's 59 and it's untenable.

Plenty of flexi-gold in those extra seats, the club makes it fairly obvious they want rid of as many SC holders as they can get away with (Preferring the visit the club shop types instead), either way the club isn't very transparent on who are getting those tickets and how.

Expect a LOT more empty seats next season at 90% of the games.

I phoned the club before the season started as I'd heard about them but wanted more info. I had to change the seat I've been in since we moved to the Etihad, as there wasn't a free seat beside me, but still in the same block. My grandson was already ajunior member as I'd been taking him to the cup games. They found us 2 seats together, so a few weeks before each match I get an email that his purchase window is open so if hecan attend I just buy the ticket. Only £10.16 a game!

Surely though the flexi-gold, like all season tickets, is only league games? The 35K attendance was in the Champions League, followed by 42K in the league cup.

I just got an email off the club advising tickets for Forest home game March 4th are going on open sale with a maximum of three tickets per person, just thought I would put out there.

I was just talking about the flexi gold season tickets. They seem like a perfect solution to empty seats to me as it means that a season ticket isn't being bought by someone who will only turn up for the big games and not resold and still gives someone who wants to come to every match the option of a season ticket. Why isn't it a good idea?

Well it isn't working is it? The empty seats are getting worse and worse because the club are not curating young teenage fans at all, what we are seeing here is the start of a lost generation.

The post above mine shows just how much this farce is working because the club are going to have to start giving tickets away to fill the stadium soon and I doubt they will even be able to do that. There was a very good reason we had protests outside and inside the stadium last season.

Once the tourists leave the club wont recover but if the club do well then year on yrar legacy fans will die off and we will be a Disney theme park.
