Then the execs will show him options and let him choose from there.
yes it is a good question, I've been thinking about it lot this week.
I think 4 'recognised' strikers, lets say - Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic & Negredo, could bring it's own problems as 1 of these could be very under utilised and another slightly less so. This would undoubtedly become an issue where keeping players happy is concerned and will be a real test of pellers man management skills.
When we had 4 strikers previously - Aguero, Dzeko, Tevez & Ballotelli, it posed problems. Tevez had the Bayern issue, Ballo was often played out on the left and had disciplinary issues on and off the field - after Arsenal away in our title season where he was red carded, his only appearance thereafter was a 5 minute cameo against QPR (quite a significant contribution at that of course).
So I'm thinking it will be either Jovetic or Negredo not both (but could be wrong). My feeling would be that since we have been linked with Jovetic, the sounds from Sevilla and player are that city haven't made a formal bid and he won't go unless the club needs to sell him and that therefore it's Jovetic who is now the front runner (but might be wrong).
So Ibrahimovic now comes into the frame according to some reports in the media - perhaps the sort of name that many think we should be looking at, quality no doubt but far too tempremental for me.
So trying to second guess and apply some logic to what City might be up to is not easy, the only thing for sure is that more signings will come in - sooner than later if Pellers SA press conference is anything to go by. I've not even mentioned Guidetti in all of this - it appears Pellers was a fan whilst at Malaga (refer inside city feature on Pellers first day), but that injury got in the way of a loan deal, something that might be significant in Pellers deciding on where Guidetti's future lies.
But like I say - who knows.......
