Though he had a good impact vs the chavs. He has great ball retention skills, very good in close spaces, and links up well with Silva/Aguero/Yaya. No reason at all for him to go. A great player to have in the squad over the course of the season with his ability

plus he seems to already have taken Dzeko's role as the outlet for our more negative fans frustrations

With no De Bruyne it seems Nasri is staying and we are focused on Otamendi.

Except we are still hearing that De Bruyne was told what to say in German by the host not realising what he was saying, hence his agent's comments.

So perhaps still up in the air...

The thing is was I believe the word that other than KDB unless someone extraordinary became available we would only sign him. Seems if we sign both we will be reaching £200 mil in transfer outlays...no? Yet, I am gathering we will be subtracting the Negredo money from the deal with Valencia, so a bit less then.

I think we're allowed our own opinions on players - especially if you're a fan that goes week in week out. I've never changed my opinion on Nasri. Can't stand the guy and never have.
To be fair to Dzeko he never got any stick at the matches. Quite the opposite in fact where even when he wasn't playing his name would get chanted.

I'm sure there'll be a net off for what they owe on the Negredo deal.

With sales it'd end up around £90 million.

I did say consistent impact on games ... meaning over the course of a season. He could easily be bang average against everton this week, or be detrimental to the result, like turning his back to a fk in the last minute of an important game.

I also didn't say that I want him gone necessarily, just that my opinion is he doesn't consistently deliver on his skill, and doesn't consistently impact games. If he left, he'd need to be relpaced, so I don't think it will happen unless we're bringing in KDB or Pedro ... but I'm not overly attached to a player that we don't even know will impact a game if he starts or comes on as a sub.

I'm not going to pick him up and drive him out of city, but i'm not against it either.

Is that what they said or what we're doing? Or both? Or neither?

Also, sauce?

Chelsea apparently trying to hijack the Pedro deal. Might succeed too.

Is anyone actually sold on Pedro? He reminds me of Aaron Lennon, all motor and no steering wheel.

i think he's much better than that. he's a decent finisher which would outclass Lennon just on that fact. Also, he's played with some of the best in the world and understands how to make space for those type of players and to find the space to poach from. Something Lennon never proved, and wouldn't have even if he was in a side of that makeup.

i think he's a snip at 22-odd millions.

cheers

He plays in one of the best teams in the world as a forward, last season he managed 6 goals in 35 league appearances. A league in which Soldado is a 1 in 2 goalscorer.

Each of their last season in La Liga.
Soldado 1 goal in every 122 minutes (started 33 games, made 2 sub apperances) 4 assists
Pedro 1 goal in every 255 minutes (started 15 games, made 20 sub appearances) 6 assists

Rafael Hernandez says Chelsea have got Pedro. He is usually very well informed on Barca matters. Sky are claiming we're interested. I don't think we are because the de Bruyne deal is our priority.

Separately Sky running hard that United have offered 60 million pounds for Thomas Muller. The scum are clearly interested but I can't imagine Rumennige selling. In fact he's very clearly said he won't.

Mail also have the Pedro to Chelsea story. They just steamed in and offered the reserve price. Big blow for Woodward because he pissed around about the price and seems now to have lost his man. The scum have no chance of challenging for the title relying on Rooney as their main striker. They desperately need to bring someone in and will be reduced to a panic stricken search for the rest of the month.

If they get Muller I think they'll be okay with losing out on Pedro.
