2-0 FT. Comfortable victory, not the goal-fest that many expected but it should really have been. Defence were pretty solid but we lacked creativity. I think we're definitely a much better team with Bellers playing. Not sure what's up with Ireland at the moment. Nice to have Ade back. Ned needs to learn how to cross. Can't recall ever feeling more emotionally detached watching a City game, bit weird.

Kolo MOTM for me today

Ireland was a lazy toe-rag, good vision for the first goal though
Barry needs that op, lets hope we sign some relief for him
Hope Vinny isn't too badly injured

A good 3 points but BORING and real poor in midfield and up top!!!! I hope they seriously pick it up for Hull. A decent team would have stuffed us today.

Three points but a very subdued display.
Ireland was off the pace today and was very lazy. Very little tracking back and let players get passed him.
Barry also, as he has been for the past few months, very uninspiring. His passing ability is unquestionable but he turns like an oil tank (and is about as quick) and for a big guy his heading is deadful.

Ade and Tevez both worked hard but they kept drifing into the same position. One of them (Ade) needs to play in the centre and stay there.

On a plus side the defense looked very composed. Lescott and Bridge wont just walk back into the side, especially with Boyota getting better and better.

Have to agree. Don't think I've been so dissappointed with a win for a long time. I suppose allowances should be made for the emotional draining that occured in mid week?

Awful, awful performance easily worst of the season.

Mancini must have said "Whatever you do today guys DO NOT put more than 60% effort in."

Barry left wing? Petrov right? I thought when Mancini forst put him there it was because SWP was injured but no its a continuing theme, he continually checks inside and slows the move down, whilst their joker of a right back was continually skinned by Bellamy in the last 15 mins.

AWFUL AWFUL PERFORMANCE SO ANGRY!

What the hell was the problem today?

Watched Hercules top of Spanish 2nd lose at home with a goal start to the bottom club yesterday and thought it wasn´t going to be easy today - they lost but we won playing badly - you´ve got to take it and move on

I think that's a big part of it. After the match at the swamp most players must be physically and mentaly drained. Difficult to get motivated after that. Hope its just a blip and they'll back to form in time for Hull. Sweep and Bellers back on the wings and we'll be in business.
