Well I caught 12 minutes of that. From those 12 I thought we were the better team. We looked stronger in attack and Scouse look to be seriously lacking in confidence across the park. But, it was only 12 minutes.

Most entertaining for weeks. AJ and SWP switching and bewitching.
Ade actually running down the goalkeeper a la Tevez almost created a great chance
Ireland looks best when he doesn't think and just one touches.

Shame about Barry

All others look up for it.

Love watching that lad mate. Proper school yard footballer. Looks like the ball is glued to his feet.

Little bit work on th end product and this kid could be next superstar.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Anyone feel this is one hell of an important second half coming up? Would prefer not to put so much emphasis on it in the bigger scheme of things, but it just feels that way

thats the stats off sportinglife fcuking only one shot neither team with an attempt on goal !!! sound like a poor game but you lot say no its not is roberto playing for a draw ?

City clearly aren't playing for a draw. the last 20 mins of that half we had them on the back foot and with a little more pace, a decent cross or Ireland not being a total fucking lunkhead we'd be up 1-0 right now.

those stats don't show that it's been a pretty entertaining match tbh. Midfield battle is actually pretty fun to watch, and Liverpool have gotten into some positions to create chances, but our CBs have been rock solid, and we have no yellow cards vs their 2.

Who will get sent off 2nd half? Komps or Masch? One of them won't finish this match i don't believe.

Jinky is amazing. Crazy that after spending 200M our best player today is someone we snagged from a mid-table Championship side. He's pacy, and his ball control and crossing is just fantastic. Love this kid. What about him maybe on the left tho? We can't buy a cross from the left and have created some chances there...

cheers

I think Johnson is awesome today again. Constantly has 2-3 Liverpool players around him and still gets past them or finds a City player.

I think Adebayor is playing really well too his hold up play is great today. Ireland looks decent too.

FIRST 15 MINS WE WERE NOT AT THE RACES BUT AS THE HALF WENT ON WE PLAYED SOME GOOD STUFF.

VERY POSITIVE FOR THE SECOND HALF.

seems like swp and jinky swapped halfway through the half ... 2nd half could see them return to normal ... or return at about the 70 minute mark. If we bring bellers on who would it be for? Ireland? I think swp and johnson both doing great

I've got the Key 103 commentary on via the MCFC site.

Started well in the second half, apparently.

IRELAND.... I know he is a local hero and nobody can't say a word different that he is Maradona+Messi.

Today 4-2-2-1-1 is the best oppotunity a "" playmaker" or "attacking Mid" may be gifted by a manager.

Fully intetled to move upfront from line to line....

He is gifted, we desperately need some of that stuff, but, as a matter of fact:
alway hidden amongst opponents
never stepping at the ball and or attacking spaces to dictate the pass to the carrier...
rarely attempting to tackle, quite never succeding in it.

The action when Ade succeded to put the keeper under pressure - despite his not acting according to proper scheme of pressing - then Ade returned ang get the ball and delivers it to him, quite unmarked on the box.... Hopeless

However, very good attitude, quite good display, hope for Bellers to come... imo

C'mon City

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
