Interesting to note that there is not a sausage about this on the BBC's website
What I think we all have to be alive to is, anti-City potential media bias aside, the fact that ALL top clubs have to deal with this kind of shit about their star players.
Liverpool - Torres, Gerrard
Arsenal - Fabregas
United - Beckham, Ronaldo, Rooney
Chelsea - Drogba, Terry
There may well be some truth in this story but fact is, all of the above have had issues re their star players which have ranged from rumours, to blatant tapping up, to players slapping in transfer requests.
Carlos Tevez's "homesick" angle is a new one but one that makes the whole thing even more unrealistic and likely to be more easily manageable (if true) than, say, Barcelona courting Cesc Fabregas.
I don't like this kind of story and we do not need this kind of shit but what annoys me more than the scumbag gutter press is the fucking mongs amongst us who are quick to jump on the back of one of our most consistent and valuable players with absolutely zero proof that he has actually done anything wrong.
Even if he is homesick and even if he had fallen out with Mancini and said he wants to leave.......so what. We can manage the situation, either by resolving his issues and making him feel all warm and lovely or, ultimately, by replacing him. In the interim, however, there is nothing to gain and lots to lose by having fuckwits ranting and raving about or at him and doing the rag media's job for them. Idiots
