Can you blame them, any time we get near the goal the ref steps in and puts a stop to it.

Unlucky, Micah
But SuperMario's already making a huge difference.

Shit performance, on balance
They probably deserved a draw for their industry.

Hopefully SuperMario will be fit for the 2nd leg

Poor performance, but we're still in the tie, and hopefully it will bring a few bodies out in two weeks time

Sarah,

Thank you for giving me an hour off yesterday afternoon so that I could get home to watch the match.

However in light of yesterday's non-event I feel that it's only fair that I should now be awarded the hour back so that I could do something more productive. Painting my walls grey immediately springs to mind.

I thought I'd post this as a template for tomorrow.

We looked happy with 0-0 and got a 0-0.

Honestly the whole team barely hit first gear. Tired borderline lazy performance.

On the plus side i'm certain we will have Aris at Eastlands... so long as we actually run a bit that is.

Lets put it this way - you've seen this exact match quite a few times already this season.

Frustrating
Unbalanced play
About two serious city shots on target
Relief at the final whistle

That's fine even if not a great match to watch. No problem with the result and we did get close a few times. Some passing was awful but it wasn't easy to play the sort quick passes we like because the pitch was so hard an bobbly.

Nice to see Mario get a few minutes but all we need is Mancini to work out how to play the attacking talent we have in a team.

Micah really should have scored off a great corner from Kolarov. Aris looked like a very hard working bottom of the premiership side; even at home they didn't commit very many players forward. We didn't break quickly enough when they lost possession. A couple of good moments from Dzeko but he had an indifferent game ( but he needs service- one decent cross equalled a great header) as, to be fair did Tevez. I didn't think Silva was at his best either. The defence was very comfortable; all four of them. Balotelli looked a threat the moment he came on because he has pace and skill.

Onwards to Notts County and then Aris again. Two wins, I'm sure.
