I hope we dick the man about all over the shop

I cant abide the almost certainty that he can commit the cardinal football sin and end up getting what he always wanted

Perhaps he should play with the squad tomorrow and Dejong should man mark him....

I hope Mancini puts him on the reserves, then we call him in and fuck him off.

This.

Still remain as angry today with him as I was that night in Munich.

Come tomorrow night he needs to out of the club with a notice in hand of legal proceedings being filed against him and a fifa ban incoming.

NOT THAT: one more time at Carrington so the rest of the rest of the squad can show him as a "professional" the contempt he deserves. Then BobbyManc and the club can show him his future in football i.e. hit the fucker with ban/sanctions from FIFA backing.

Doomie makes perfect sense in his post (I do struggle with some of his logic/posts sometimes with his analergies), but he is bang on in this.

Piccers' you appear to have a let's not bully mentality? The only thing I would like to change IF the former 32 ever dons, Gods own shirt ever again is that every fan of football (not only City fans) learns in Spanish the words "you are a mercenary thick scumbag, with no respect"
Just in case he has a problem with the translation?

From the statement made on the OS, he is quite clearly guilty as charged, there is NO way that they would put up what they have without being 10000000% sure of the clubs stance legally and mentioning him meeting BobbyManc tomorrow in imo, is he is dead footballer walking.

A real shame, but bottom line is that has disrespected not only our beloved club, football in general but he has no one to blame but himself and his advisors.

Which mong would choose the biggest club comp in the world to make this move? I really didn't understand how big the media circus was around the chums league, I suspect the former 32 did!?!?!

Not happy at all with the cent. The bottom line for me is that there is no doubt he's is/has been a terrific player for us on the pitch. If they could sort something out I'd still like him for his playing ability on the pitch. The flipside is that no player should be/is bigger than the club so it's detention with the reserves or fucling off asap for me. I think Mancini would walk if the club insist he remains a first team player tbh.

there is a general sense that finding a way to destroy his footballing career at a top level is more important than the wedge of cash. I agree with that perspective btw. I hope we find a way to make him rue the day he signed for us, the little miserable fucker. He's taken the piss one time too many, hasn't he?

I've never turned on a pro athlete as quickly and as completely as i've turned on Tevez. It's heartbreaking really...destined to be a legend here if he just cared enough to matter, but somehow our accolades, our patience and the club's willingness to bend over backwards everytime he 'spat his dummy' as you say only seems to have fed the beast and made him a pariah, and the penultimate example of sporting greed and civic disrespect, mapping to essentially what is the archetype of what's wrong with the "modern footballer."

if we don't stand against him, and fuck him over in a serious fashion then it gives a decent argument for those that say we are ruining football. We are one of only a handful of teams that can afford to make an example of Tevez, and set a precedent that forces the next fucler to reconsider not getting off the bench when the manager calls his number. We should take this opportunity to create a landmark case in football and ensure that players get knocked down a peg, because we all know it needs to happen.

This is so far and above being a hard negotiator, or wanting something that isn't earned, etc...those things are normal, and still suck at times, but the entire arc of this story over the last 10 months is fucking pathetic and this aggression cannot be tolerated, man. It cannot be tolerated.

cheers

Carrington will be fun tomorrow then.I had better get there early or else there will be nowhere to park.
I wonder whether Mancini will ask him to train with the EDS.That would be good as all the photographers will bugger off to the other side of the fields and out of my way:)
The training report tomorrow will be a must read, what time can we expect the post ?

Even before all this happened, he put in the worst performances out of all our strikers this season. Times change, players get depressed and fat. He should be beaten with soap in socks before and after the training session by all our players. Then fucked off to Russia or the 3rd division for good

No quotes in that article, but if anyone's ever going to believe him and Kia, they have to go on the counter offensive. I'm surprised they've not laid blame at Mancini's doorstep sooner.

Manchester City and Carlos Tevez - what next?

WHAT PART OF TÉVEZ’S CONTRACT MIGHT HE HAVE BREACHED?

Clause 3.1 of the standard Premier League contract states: “The Player agrees, when directed by an authorised official of the Club, to participate in any matches for which he is selected to play for the Club.” As City manager, Roberto Mancini would be regarded as an authorised official of the club, so any refusal by Tévez to play would see him in conflict with the terms of his contract.

WHAT IS THE USUAL PUNISHMENT FOR SUCH A BREACH?

A two-week fine is the maximum allowed under Professional Footballers’ Association rules, although this can be extended to six weeks’ wages in exceptional circumstances on approval of the PFA. If a fine of two weeks’ wages is regarded as insufficient, clubs can request PFA support for an extended fine. Refusing to play in one game may not be sufficient to give City grounds to dismiss Tévez for gross misconduct.

UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES CAN A BREACH OF CONTRACT LEAD TO SACKING?

Clause 10 of the players’ Premier League contract gives the club the right to terminate the deal if a player is guilty of gross misconduct, but this is defined as “serious or persistent” conduct, including failure to comply with the terms of the contract. Thus, a first offence, unless regarding as extremely serious, is unlikely to lead to dismissal.

WHAT IS THE MOST LIKELY PUNISHMENT?

A fine of six weeks’ wages, totalling at least £1.2 million, combined with a further suspension is the likeliest outcome should Manchester City prove that Tévez refused to play as a substitute against Bayern Munich.

Sacking the Argentine forward is regarding as ‘excessive’ by the PFA and City could struggle to find legal justification for such a move.

Despite being suspended by City for the last weeks, Tévez remained on full pay during the investigation into the allegations against him.

Each layer of 'appeal' will take up 2/3 weeks .............. that will take us nicely into the January transfer window.

Well my thoughts are in the same place as most other posters in terms of what I 'want' to happen, but I just think that we are going to be surprised.

From the 28th September there has been a campaign by the 'Tevez camp' to play a straight bat and do all to make sure that their 'client' is not in breech (I mean since the 27th) of his contract and that he is acting terms in line with CITY's direction. At the same time they have been sowing seeds of doubt about the events of the 27th (I mean in terms of what could be presented in a court - not in terms of what fans think)

CITY might have to return him to the team environment etc until a buyer can be found (I am sure that Joorabcunt is finding one as we speak and promising a bargain basement price) - if CITY handle it wrongly it is CITY that might find themselves on the wrong end of a lawsuit

There is no 'fairness' - I hope that I am totally wrong - just what I interpret from the way things are playing out

Or maybe this is not far off the truth......

It is understood City have fresh evidence they wish to put to Tevez that was not available to them when they originally quizzed the 27-year-old.

This will be put to him when the hearing resumes, with the club keen to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible given legal constraints.

1632 is right. We could screw ourselves by giving Tevez what he bloody deserves. Best punishment is to alienate him for as long as possible and make it clear that the club won't agree a transfer to any desirable club. We need to make our point to everyone that we will not be dicked about.

So Tevez: waste your own career here or go to Russia. You have no special relationship with the fans. We want rid of idiots.

Gordon Taylor has just been on Radio5 - I know he sounds more depressed than Droopy but he just winds me up - faced with a question if he'd spoken to Tevez he got all arsey & asked if it was him in the dock - tw@t

Ps he did admit to speaking to Tevez & said Tevez refutes the idea he refused to play - wow what a shock
