Before the weekend I didn't think we'd win tomorrow but now this result gives the team huge motivation to put a bit of breathing space between us and the rags.

Also gives spurs huge motivation, win today and they're only 4 points behind with a game in hand

The conspiracy actually runs deeper! They knew people were catching on to their plot, so they purposefully lost this game to throw off all those on their tail. Genius I might add

That actually made me laugh,I'm looking forward to city proving more theory's wrong.

Indeed. Thing is, teams always drop points. None of us expected this litttle present though, just - fucking yes!

This is going to be one hell of a ride, as if we didn't know already. What a massive boost as we enter the month with a crazy fixture list.

This is wonderful.

Just as I was about to bottle out watching an expected Blackburn foul up, all the power in thehouse went off so I had to sort that & then went out. Later I went past the little Irish bar in Chorlton & I could see some of the saddest fucks I've ever seen in my life & thought 'something else has happened'. Then got a text off a rag mate doing his fucking nut, then saw a known old Stretford Ender walk past avoiding eye contact & looking like he was about to cry ! Haha. Fantastic.

Usually, when the rags do this, one of Chelsea, Arsenal etc fuck up immediately to give them the points back. If we do our job tomorrow we may extend our lead over several teams.

Spuds 1 up after being outplayed for 44 mins. Cross deflected to VDV then his shot deflected in off a Swans defender. Triffic.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I'm sure even Baconface (Prince of Denmark, well he is an old Ham... let).... Even with his Cunning and Sculduggery, must accept
that the blame lies firmly at his own Castle door and not that of his McKean.... tonight. There's something rotten in Trafford tonight.

Might it also be that by the time we entertain Spurs at home, we can also put an end to their talk about winning the league... Oh how nice that would be.

I actually thought kean and blackburn did their best to help united in general play.

Took off their two best players at crucial times imo.

Still, united were that bad for most of the game and couldn't string two passes together.

Even when teams are very average, this united team are capable of being worse. They shit it when there's any kind of fighting spirit because they don't have warriors in their team.

I wish more teams would show this against them.

Anyway, its a beautiful day :)

I think today shows that anything can happen and no game is a given. No point in worrying ahead and how many points we might/might not be ahead by, just take every game as it comes.

Shouldn't even be thinking about Scouser game until after tomorrow.

It's the team which need to be focused on Sunderland not us.

True. Sometimes though people make threads predicting what'll happen in the next six/seven games.
Hopefully this result, along with our result at OT, will show that OT is not the fortress it once was and they are very beatable.

Still, Sunderland tomorrow won't be easy and they're on a bit of form.

We can't trust anyone to beat the rags no matter how they play but we are simply better than them & everybody else. We need to keep winning, especially at places like West Brom. I'm watching Chelsea right now & they show no signs of being a side who will beat the rags; Villa should be in front. They played like a Cup final & mugged us but it's not favourite they will repeat that once the rags turn up. We have to do it ourselves & put pressure on the rags; then they will fuck up.

I'm not predicting anything. They probably thought they'd done the hard work reeling in the 5 points and knocking a chunk off the goal difference and they fully expected to be 3 points clear tonight. Balls in our court again now. We can do a lot of damage to their season in the next 9 days.
