The conspiracy actually runs deeper! They knew people were catching on to their plot, so they purposefully lost this game to throw off all those on their tail. Genius I might add

He'll have his phone turned off, you can hardly blame him.

Just as I was about to bottle out watching an expected Blackburn foul up, all the power in thehouse went off so I had to sort that & then went out. Later I went past the little Irish bar in Chorlton & I could see some of the saddest fucks I've ever seen in my life & thought 'something else has happened'. Then got a text off a rag mate doing his fucking nut, then saw a known old Stretford Ender walk past avoiding eye contact & looking like he was about to cry ! Haha. Fantastic.
Usually, when the rags do this, one of Chelsea, Arsenal etc fuck up immediately to give them the points back. If we do our job tomorrow we may extend our lead over several teams.

Might it also be that by the time we entertain Spurs at home, we can also put an end to their talk about winning the league... Oh how nice that would be.

Shouldn't even be thinking about Scouser game until after tomorrow.

It's the team which need to be focused on Sunderland not us.

True. Sometimes though people make threads predicting what'll happen in the next six/seven games.
Hopefully this result, along with our result at OT, will show that OT is not the fortress it once was and they are very beatable.
Still, Sunderland tomorrow won't be easy and they're on a bit of form.
