There seems to be a real loss of edge. ? Still carrying an injury and us with only 2.5 strikers (Mario = .5) means he's over used? Could this be a reason. I mean after his debut I was thinking of another maradonna!

He's been our best player along with Silva - we have no one getting near the back post when he works his magic though, or we'd be two goals up by now.

you have to say the kitman got this one all wrong today.
imo the best one would've been home shirt, dark blue or black shorts and home socks.

this game is crying out for Dzeko. Can't believe we haven't scored.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yea 2 mates text me to say the shirts are too similar.

We need Dzeko (in theory!) and let Kun drop back abit from the fwd line to bring in Silva and some more support from AJ cutting in.

Villa are there for the taking.

Barry and Dejong do not need to be playing in the same team when we are playing a bottom half demotivated team of old rejects.

The problem is our midfield, flacid passing and not supporting the attacks properly.

I have to say that was garbage - NDJ , Milner and Barry - wtf !? Nasri and Dzeko on and maybe Micah

Things have to improve or you can just see another 1-0 to the home side

I don't know whether I am relaxed that we are in control and bound to score, frustrated that we havent scored and might not or worried that it will be a Sunderland game where they score from their only chance.

Correct that I am definitely not relaxed.

Well tactically we have had no problems & have been in the danger area many times so Bob hasn't made a mistake. The attack arejust fucking useless so far & that includes Silva. The approach play is fine but once it reaches the box, you could swap Silva & Aguero for Bercovic & the Goat & we'd be 4 up. I counted ONE correct decision; Johnson's shot. On every other occasion, there are players free who are not seen, shooting opportunities not taken & ceosses to the 7ft invisible man beyond Villa's far post.

It's time they fucking woke up. This is not even 50% of our attacking capability. We did this 1st half v Everton & they offered nothing. Then they got their tails up & beat us. Sort it out.

Putting the ball into space (that they created themselves) at the backpost is the RIGHT decision - the wrong part is that no one is supporting them by anticipating the cross. We could have had two goals if someone got near the back post (the kind of position that Dzeko anticipates in his sleep)

It's the same half we had at WBA, Sunderland, WIgan, Everton. We pass, but we fail to score and then the opponents are more and more confident as the minutes go by.
