Let's not forget that it was not that many weeks before the end of our Championship winning season that Sherriff Doomie was leading the lynch party to string Mancini himself up.
Let's ignore the realities of our financial position (£146M to find from somewhere), the refusal of Ade, Rocky Crocky et al to drop their wages or even that it was always part of the long term plan to spend this year's money over last 2 seasons in order to dodge the worst demands of the FFP.
Sherriff Doomie wants his train set, Deputy Ant and the lads have all been invited round to play but Daddy has said NO!

EXACTLY.
The very same mind games he is using by moaning at Marwood. It's not just Marwood he is moaning at, it's Khaldoon.
If we sign 3 superstars for decent money, he won't say 'well done Brian' he will say 'thank you Sheikh Mansour & Khaldoon for your fantastic support'.

I will blame Marwood if dont get it.
Chinners wrote:So Mancio ... You think Marwood should just say to Adebayor take a wage cut or don't play again? ... I can see that going down well at the European court of appeal when he takes us to a tribunal. Players have the upper hand, wroingly imo so if we are doing our small part to bring the greedy fuclers back in the real world so be it whether it is Marwoods doing or not. As I've already said if Kaldoomn and the Sheikh were unhappy with Marwood, he'd be long gone. People like him operate behind the scenes and out of the public gaze for a reason in general ... so they can get on with their job
And football is unlike any other business in the world so you can't compare it to the norm. Any other business would not be allowed to even get the chance to rack up millions of pounds in debt and carry on trading
