Horrible first half. We need to change formation (and attitude).

We're being out-hustled in midfield everytime we have the ball, and not doing enough to get it back.

Whetever the small details, we're a goal down to 3rd division defending. I would score that now, 9 times out of 10 it's easy. Neither defender was stopping the man or the ball. Stuff like that was the reason we signed Lescott in the first place.

Absolutely shocking. Amazing that the problems envisaged before the game - Kolarov, Balotelli, Kolo are exactly what's happened. One of those WTF days so far

I said it on the other thread, this system is suicide.

With our 4-3-2-1 we had the best defence in the world, because we had every corner, field, spot of the ground covered. Now, it's like every player for himself.

Horrible. Worst decision since he came here.

How can he have faded from not being involved at all in the first 25 minutes??? Overall we had good possession in the 1st 25 and looked ok without really doing anything of note. Then Scouse started to get going and we started to look ragged.

In an attacking sense we seem to just have Tevez with pretty well all the rest anonyomous. Defensively, although it seems we are supposed to boo Kolo judging by what I heave read here, I think has been one of our best players barring the odd scary moment near the half way line.Shame abouit the goal but it shows what a perfect delivery can do against zonal marking with a big guy attacking.Kolaraov was marking him but seemed to be blocked by Zaba.

Lets see what RM does.

True enough Ted but I'm also fed up with Balotelli's half arsed attitude. Stay on your feet and get involved. Apart from one moment he's been shite. There again so have most others. Not good enough. Step it up Ffs.
