As for the article about players that are assumed to leave like RSC - i think its right, all bets are off as to who is leaving the club this summer, i wouldnt be surprised if rocky stays

It would be proper roy of the rovers stuff if he did, and did the business next season.

Some on here would go fucking mental, but if he has stayed fit for a full season why not keep him around as a reserve if pellegrini knows how to use him.

I think Stuart Brennan is on a bit of a wind up there, because he knows how some on here & Bluemoon would react to the news.

He's been decent for Malaga tbf, but still not the same player he was before the injury when we signed him, & at that time, he was used to the pace & physicality of the Premier League. No point whatsoever in having him blocking the route of an academy player. And very little chance City would pay his wages if we can get someone else to pay it.

I think most of us on here would wonder if we'd got the right man for the job if Pellegrini kept Rocky on.

I'm sure thay would, but that would be pretty stupid imo, as Pellegrini would simply be utilising a player who has played well for him, who is already on the payroll. He doesn't know anything about the politics involved.

The club actually agreeing to it would be much more of a questionable act imo.

You do realise his contract expires this summer right? In order to keep him we'd have to sign him to another deal....I think my head would implode.

Was it a 4 year deal ? Happy days.

I thought it was five.

Bit crazy to give him new contract , if we gone to bring any strikers and i think Pellegrini knows he can have better then him but great plus is that he manage to use him good, that is ability that i give me hope abaut Pellegrini.

so the transfer window opens on June 1? and we're expecting to see some announcement a week or so before that re: Pellegrini?

Just seen something about Juve speaking with Tevez's agent. At this rate, I believe nothing regarding Tevez.

Has money and contracts been exchanged or have principal agreements been made?

Or they may have signed the contracts, but paper work and money hasn't been sent to the authorities and clubs.

I can only think of those two possible answers to your question.

you don't need to answer.

Just accept that there are rules for clubs like Bayern ... and then other rules for the rest .

Go Dortmund !!

Can't see it myself, but I would definitely prefer BD to take the trophy home.

I thought the transfer window opened July 1st, not June.

And Navas is a risk, if anyone is going to complain about the food, the weather and the distance from home, it's gonna be him.

Seriously starting to think we're going to spend big this summer. Otherwise it looks like teams in France are buying up all the talent.. we could claim we had to do it to compete in the market ;)

I think we always were going to. Isco I would say is a dead cert, Fernandinho only if they reduce the asking price A LOT, reports are coming through on Falcao...so maybe, he will be very pricey though. If Kolo and Lescott leave this summer, we will need to buy some defensive options.

One things for sure, Txiki is a very busy man behind the scenes. Hes not afraid of big signings, got the rep and he'll be eager to prove he means business. I'm a little excited.

It's really exciting! Positive elements of Mancini aside, I think we all have a suspicion that too often we have seen our very talented side/squad look like less of the sum of its very able parts. To think that the new man can get them to potentially be more than just the sum of parts is, in itself, an exciting prospect....but it seems certain that we will add some very talented new players into the mix.

We have great foundations (thanks to the owner and Mancini) and we don't need to force the new players in too soon or in too risky a manner, they can be eased into English football to an extent. Isco, Navas, Falcao, Fernandinho in and maybe Dzeko, Sinclair, Kolo, Joleon out...agree that we need some more defensive cover but no way should we sell Tevez if Falcao comes in (or Cavani for that matter)
