The usual bollox at the end, as if they'd spanked us (as of the cunt Keane). Playing away from home the possessin was quite even and I'm sure we had more shots than them.

Just listening to Hodgson, he needs to keep his mouth shut and relax.

Sounds like none of our guys (except Silva) got injured on duty. That's a relief

Out of interest if anyone watched the full Spanish match how did our lads get on? Did Garcia improve after his shocking opening few minutes?

Short answer: no. Long answer: yes, he settled a bit after the first 15, but was still generally shite. Constantly put his teammates under pressure with poorly timed passes, missed tackles, poor fouls in dangerous areas, etc. del bosque clearly not impressed...highly doubt he takes him to brazil.

Cheers. It's a bit of a mystery how he got the knod from del bosque in the first place.I presume he would be keeping a watchful eye on City with Navas and Silva at the club and on Garcias recent showings for City he should be nowhere near getting in the Spanish squad.

Trapattoni finally gone, too late in my opinion should have gone after the shambles at the Euro's.

he does possess one of the best left pegs in the premier league, just a damn shame he can't defend.

And it's a shame he doesn't come up against defenders the sheer awesome quality of the Welsh national team.

Yes, too bad the likes of Danny Gabbidon & Ben Davies don't play in the same league as Kolarov.

And the other two played for Reading and Celtic.

When you rip half the defenders out of a lineup, you know what happens? That's right, Cardiff score three on you and make you look like mugs.

Too bad the Irish couldn't keep it to a draw against Austria. It would have made it much easier for Sweden to qualify ...
