I just saw skys advert for the run in every Chelsea game every Liverpool game every arsenal game and THREE man city games. Media bias or is it something else. Anyway I have decided I fucking hate sky they are a bunch of money grabbing scum supporting cunts.

The media and sky in particular has had the biggest hand in influencing officials and the premier league in general. It's such a shame, but hopefully the rise of the likes of BT should make things more impartial.

Football might be corrupt, crass and silly, but we still love to watch.
When the commercial chaos clears, we get to see these amazing athletes at the height of their games, it’s still worth it. And the spontaneous joy is something you can’t get anywhere else.

To be fair, our other games are to be shown on BT so Sky don't have an option. You'd still think they'd have us in their 'Title Run-In' theme but with their hatred all things BT it looks like they've seen their arse.

Well that's it in a nutshell. We can moan about it, but we won't stop watching it.

I wonder what would happen if the premier league was found to have the same problems as Serie A and FIFA. Where we finally knew for a fact that games were fixed.

Would we stop watching then? Did the Italians stop watching?

Exactly. I think out of the Top 4 we have been on BT the most ... BT bias?

Attendances in Italy fell dramatically following the match-fixing scandal, didn't they?

I'm not sure mate. I'd imagine so. But I'd say people began to try and pretend it didn't happen, whilst praying it doesn't happen again.

Some of these people were probably convinced it couldn't happen in a top league.

It would break my heart if it was proven, so whilst I have my suspicions, I'm hoping I'm never proven right.

Kind of like finding your missus shagged someone else. You think you'd want to know, but do you?!

Was worried about the Southampton game as our most likely home fuckup & am just glad we won it.

The Tarquins' battle with Everton is not good news for us at all though. I was expecting Everton's season to be decided by the time they play us & thus making it potentially easier & especially less likely to be influenced by refereeing. Now it could end up another cup final.

That, plus the fact that it seems Liverpool are going to continue be awarded penalties in pretty much any away game they require, potentially makes this a lot more difficult. We got a break with the lino for 2nd goal on Sunday, but I fear we aren't going to get many more & I'm absolutely certain the scousers are going to get most things .

I think we may now need at least a point at Anfield, wheras I didn't previously.

We really should have beaten Arsenal.

Everton away is tricky but Barry is not playing and he has been key for them - but our record there is poor. I dont think our record at Palace is good either - I'm trying to recall a win there that I can remember. Having said that if the team are focussed, determined and not in any way complacent I truly believe we will win this league. Our biggest enemy is ourselves. Show respect for the opposition but play like you should play. Take anyone lightly (even Sunderland at home) and this league will make you pay. We are in the end game now - time to shine.

I always thought we needed a point at Anfield as much to avoid a gap being created. Right now we take top spot if we win our games in hand, until the Sunderland game we need to make sure this is still the case. Then things become a lot simpler.

Assuming Chelsea beat 10 man Swansea today to go 2nd at 75 points from 35 games,

all we need is for us to win our remaining 6 games and, at least, have Chelsea and Liverpool draw.
we need Liverpool to at least go 3W 1D is their last 4. Even if Chelsea win out and beat Liverpool we still win by 1 point.

so, if we win all our games, our best hope is for Chelsea to win out. it'll take points off Liverpool, but more importantly itll give Jose belief and hopefully force him to keep playing strong sides in the league (i.e. vs Liverpool) and not only prioritize the CL.

but even if Chelsea and Liverpool draw that's a good result for us.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Chelsea are right in it; they win all their games and we drop any points they will be champions. So they have lots if motivation.

For the dippers to guarantee themselves the title they will have to break a club record for wins in a row. It currently stands at eleven. They won 10 in a row in the 2005-2006 season and ended up finishing 3rd. Law of averages that they will fuck up.
