Ben Mee has been involved in everything Chelsea have done so far. How the fuck he is playing at this level just astounds me. I thought he was a liability for City reserves.

Well we know one of the relegation places, it's just a case of who gets the other two.

Regardless of the opposition it takes some fucking skill to play that pass Fabregas made. That's borderline footballing genius. Chelsea would've struggled last season against this. Already much more movement to their game.

Mate pass was great but, player who was on Schurle watch the ball and stop ,not one team would do that, not follow player so close to the box , they are crap and to impress. Chelsea is good but this is to easy.

Commentators and pundits can go wank themselves silly now, we can just get on with our games while the pressure is piled on them because they have decided to come out of their own half this season.

Fabregas, Oscar and hazard are all class though. All better than nasri but only fabregas is on silva's level. You can tell Chelsea have had a proper pre season as well unlike the fucking shambles we managed.

proper preseason? All of the players you mentioned above were involved in the WC at various levels, as well as Schurle in the final. All starters today. Dunno why their preseason was any better than ours really.

What did you want to happen? Spoiled little shit.

cheers

Mourinho had them back sharpish and they all look fresh and are all up to speed and playing together. We were all over the place at times yesterday.....we will be playing Liverpool next week with 2 of our starting 11 not played a minute of football yet, aguero has played 10 minutes and yaya is nowhere near fit.

Our pre season was shit and we have let players fuck off on holiday 3 weeks before the season started with a ridiculous fixture list to open the season.

I think we could have done better this preseason - there was no need for every squad member to be at Wembley considering we didn't take it seriously - those not involved should have been back at Carrington working on their fitness.

One round of games played and already only four teams have yet to concede a goal. The PL might be exciting but it ain't the home of tight defending. Despite all our attacking talent, the defensive improvements we have made might swing it for us this season.

The other three are Hull, Spurs and Villa by the way.

They frequently struggled to break down defences of some of the lower league teams last season.

You think they would have been putting in a session at Carrington on a Sunday afternoon while everyone else was at Wembley?

Pleasant to see Trippier doing well, only one who looked Prem class other than their goalscorer. watching Chelsea is still like watching concrete set. But yes they do look fitter than us .And they sure know how to block up midfield, which we surely don't.

Sorry that is an easy pass to make. Even at my age. Three of the defense were facing the other way. Edin's back heel ( where have i heard of back heels before ??) yesterday, required more (skill and football sense ).
