That's actually a myth, I was told recently: Liverpool is responsible for between 0.9% and 1% of sales of the Sun, despite only having 0.8% of the UK's population. Therefore, they buy more copies-per-head than the UK average.

Is that Liverpool as a city or Liverpool fans? Hants was talking about their fans

Liverpool as a city. However, the 'legend' is that nobody on Merseyside buys it, not just Dippers.

BBC have "Pickford to avoid retrospective action over VVD tackle"

The FA determined the incident was seen at the time having consulted with the match officials, including VAR.

So go fuck yourself Klipperty,

We didn't let them hammer us. You seem to have a foggy memory. They were gifted three penalties by that little runt Oliver and another goal ( because of Mendy). They actually scored one very good goal.

Edit: Wolves just flucked a goal against Leeds in a most boring match. How come we didn't paste Leeds ? I don't know , perhaps the squad is struggling at the moment.

I'm starting to get worried now, If the Rags lose on Saturday at home to Chelski, it might be the end of Oli's dream at the Theater of Drudge.

Rags will win I think. Chavs play very poorly against park the bus and counter teams, like the rags.

Besides I doubt the Glazers would sack a yes man like Ole, until they fail to qualify for the top 4!

I’d be interested too. The only thing I can find online is from 2019 -

“The pre Hillsboro circulation of the Sun in Liverpool was 255,000 a day, which fell to 32,000 after the story in 1989. It recovered a bit in the years following but new anti-Sun campaigns on Merseyside, including black cab adverts, means it is now just under 10,000 and still falling”

Unfortunately, nothing written. The 'just under 10K' is a bit lower than I was told (between 11 and 12K), and based on the Sun having a daily circulation of 1.2 million. However, if you count it at 9900 (i.e. just under 10K), it's still 0.825% of the Sun's circulation, which still means a greater copies-per-head rate than the UK average if Liverpool accounts for 0.8% of the UK's population.
