Think we played well within ourselves after the goal and controlled the game. If they'd equalised with time left we'd have upped our game but the danger was we could have been on a sticky wicket had they done so late on with little time to get a winner.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

That end of game summary was brilliant.

Game finishes, adverts. Come back, and:

So, how did the game go?

City won, move onto the Rags. Bye.

lots of positives from today. Really happy and these tight wins are better for the team as it keeps players honest.

3 pts without

Stones
Rodri
Cancelo
KDB
Sterling
Mahrez
Aguero

Take that all day long. Especially if Arteta does us a favour.

Could/should have been more comfortable after an early breakthrough, but Sheffield, buoyed by the result at the swamp in the week, defended resolutely and made it hard for us.

Defensively we were rock solid once again.

Four points clear and on to the next game

Clear push on our player and the 2 pundits - one was a cockney TiT , reckoned it was a nudge ...incredible.

The other hit his hand when it was going towards the goal...clear penalty there.

I watched the Ref and just thought to myself that he looks like a fuckign gormless mannequin.....I doubt he could look any better off the field even with his hair done and him wearing his best attire.

Pathetic performance.

+ Mendy....or if you prefer Ake - either of those would arguably be the best LB if Cancelo is the best RB

We should be called ‘Handicapped FC’. It’s as if we are given the 13 stone top weight whilst the other challengers are classed as novices on 9 stone.

It’s so blatant, mate.

Aside from Gabriel Jesus' close-range strike from a Ferran Torres cross, an instinctive header from Bernardo Silva - created by a stray Oliver Norwood header - was City's only effort on target until Aaron Ramsdale denied Oleksandr Zinchenko and then Aymeric Laporte from the corner that followed.

But, but, but ...

Pathetic cunts!

i said to my mate that i thought the ref was very poor today and let Sheff get away with alot of niggely fouls . He also immediately turned down two certain penalties .
