Love the debate about Mane and Bayern's 21 mill offer plus extras.
Scouse2 saying it undervalues him, with one year left on his Contract. Yet they have paid that waster Ox more than him for bench warming ! Hypocrasy of Scouse2 has no limits.

Hope the fuck their entitled attitude will make them refuse all of the bids and they are going to keep an unhappy player.

Just posturing from scouse. They won't risk losing him for fuck all as well as Salah who, it appears is already being tapped up to go on a free next summer if you believe the Beeb. They will miss Mane which is nice

Great attitude. I guess having country before club doesn’t define everyone’s career…

Stop the stones hate ;)

Love that from Ake.

Stop looking to sell our reliable players. Only sterling should be on the table.

Ake had a great end to the season. He deserved to play the last 2 games instead of Fern.

Laporte and Stones are both massively flawed players so I think Ake deserves a chance to fight for the centre back spot next to Dias.

Not Stones hate, he needs to spend the summer getting himseñf fit for City first. Its going to be a fucked up season with the WC which he will want to go to like everyone else. We are going to have to have everyone on it from the start of the season and then see whose left standing after xmas. Stones and Ake struggled with injuries last season lets hope they can both stay fit

Wasn’t to do with Stones. Unless Stones wants to move this summer just so he can cement his place in the Brazil team?

Any player that states they want to stay and fight for their place shows they have belief in their abilities and the perfect attitude to succeed not only at City but anywhere they may eventually go.

Jesus potentially saying he wants out after playing 41 games for City this past season stinks of Milner’s final season where he said he wanted to play more, he played more, then he said it wasn’t his favoured position so he was off to play LB at Liverpool.

Re jesus sounds to me like its more us saying he will be bit part and hes got one year left ( which seems like we are auto up for listening to offers)

I think we have offered him a new deal (same with zinch) so who knows, but we clearly want money back from one player with 12 months left; and jesus commands the biggest price.

Interesting that view vs sterling though, i would say jesus is playing ball as we are open to sell - sterling isnt, he isnt repaying us and will walk for free next year (something jesus could have done).

I think Sterling will leave on a free next year. He’ll want that big signing on bonus. Whether that’s enough to ruin his relationship with our fans, we’ll see.

It will be interesting to see if we are happy with that? I don't see us letting him run down his contract and leaving for nothing. Then again, unless we tell him to go this summer, what can we do other than suggest that he won't play and that could jeopardise his WC hopes

Over the last few seasons, City have cemented their position as the dominant team domestically. Our only competitors of any note being the dippers. That said, we are a far better team than them and we play better football. Our weakness has been our poor chance to goals conversion ratio. Scoring seven v Leeds looks great but that result could and should have been far higher. It hurt us most v Real Madrid when that tie could and shoud have been won in the first half at the Etihad.
We can usually get away with that in domestic comps but against the very top clubs we have seen it bite us.

The failed Kane deal was an attempt to sort the problem and now with the incoming Haaland and Alvarez, we hope we have solved it.

Jesus is a quality player who would succeed in almost any team including ours under different circumstances. As a player he is good but as a striker his conversion rate has been poor. At the level we are attempting to reach, we have to have a more efficientstrike force..Sadly for Jesus that means he is likelyto get squeezed out next season.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Jesus also needs to remember that at teams like Arsenal and Spurs he won’t be getting half the chances he’s getting now to score goals.

I’m not saying playing for us is easy, but we must create so much opportunities for players to make themselves look good.

RE: Jesus
According to Cadena Ser journalist Anton Meana, via the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old is demanding €5million (£4.3m) after tax, per annum.

Possibly not all about guaranteeing a spot for Brazil. Who knows.

Surely we arent. Difference is, sterling has said no to Arsenal, jesus hasnt. Seems like barca wont pay what we want for sterling so will want him for free next year. Sterling knows he will play for england regardless and pep has tended ( in the past, not recently) to play him regardless of form.

I have a feeling Sterling will just run his contract down, just like that snake Milner.
If that’s the case, then I hope pep leaves him to stew on the bench till next summer as we have plenty of cover .

Pep wont leave him to stew on the bench. The club will play the diplomatic game for the benefit of squad harmony. He signed a contract he is not obliged to extend or sign another one if he doesn't want to. If he wants to run down his contract he can do so.

Me too. Just like Milner, he’s a salt of the earth lad. Rumours on Twitter that the improvement of our ticketing system was down to Raheem stepping in.
