I do. And I will.

To be fair the Forest fans I’ve spoke to this week just wanted to keep the score down and were in awe of Haaland. They got one right

Happy to oblige!

Savage performance. Really, really exciting times ahead.

I think it's a shame you hate pep so much.... for yourself really, he's one of the best things to ever happen this club.

As for Haaland. Holy fuck.

Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez to Match of the Day, via a translator: "Obviously I'm very happy for the team performance, and for my two goals, and getting that reception from all the fans.

"I think it's not me or Erling, we can play together in the starting XI. We fit together, which is good for the team.

"Some things are similar from Argentina, like the ball pressing, but the Premier League is faster, I have to adapt to that. My team-mates help me and I am super grateful for that

Forest didn't low block, didn't shithouse. Absolute credit for trying to compete. Won't define their season. Their players knew the situation about 15 minutes in.

I'm staggered by how good that was. I could weep. I love this club.

Do you remember the years when everybody in the world watched and marvelled at Barca games, with most of us saying what a joy it was to watch such football? Well, it seems that’s what other countries are now seeing in us. In this global society we have friends all over the world and over the last few years I’ve had fans of clubs in Germany, Holland, France, etc, say how they try to catch our game as often as they could, even wanting us to win the CL over their own clubs. Since Haaland joined, and knowing he is a City fan, they’ve gone all gooey and wanting us to take the world with a storm.

We are becoming a worldwide phenomenon, but that can be smashed if we don’t keep our performances up. Tonight showed that we have everything in place to keep this up for years to come.

We have great players, and make good players greater. However, what they all have in common is that they are decent people with no ego’s. No tantrums, always about the best for the team, it’s very hard not to love and respect our club.

He said himself two weeks ago that he’ll wait until the end of the season before deciding, didn’t he? I don’t think even he knows.

after the game , my wife came over and showed me a photo of Haarland's headed goal , she gets these German feeds on her phone.

She said "look how high he is in the air ", i replied "Yes, and he still headed it down into the net" !

Scouse got very lucky after over 98 mins tonight . They will not be our rival - that's the Arse.

Now where's that Ian Wright fella for a good chin wag ?

Haaland what can you say. Sensational so far.
The goals by Alvarez were world class finishes.

Listen, irrespective of what he might earn . Given the quality of our squad, the young players making it work, the great mix of old ( 30 ish) and young , he would have to be a complete d*ckhead to give up . Unless he is ill, there is no reason to move anywhere. He does not have a next challenge . The Peters principle works in footy too. He has reached his level of incompetence at City . Long may he Reign.

Well, Pep confused us all there, used all the subs, and played three no 9's.

Haaland. He's just a tall Sterling.

Bahahahahahahahahaha

Brilliant performance. Loved the Cancelo goal. A true thunderbastard.

Re: Alvarez lots are comparing him to Aguero, and there are some similarities. But I think there is more than a touch of Tevez about him as well.

Early days but it looks like we got a Augero x Tevez cross on our hands, that's just beautiful.

I watched Spurs and the Dips games after ours finished - what a contrast - we're playing in a different dimension.
