When City rock up like that, it's basically impossible to play them. You'll not see a better performance from minute 1 as long as you watch football. 5th game of the season and we finally hit our straps. City were fucking incredible.

Forest didn't low block, didn't shithouse. Absolute credit for trying to compete. Won't define their season. Their players knew the situation about 15 minutes in.

I'm staggered by how good that was. I could weep. I love this club.

Do you remember the years when everybody in the world watched and marvelled at Barca games, with most of us saying what a joy it was to watch such football? Well, it seems that’s what other countries are now seeing in us. In this global society we have friends all over the world and over the last few years I’ve had fans of clubs in Germany, Holland, France, etc, say how they try to catch our game as often as they could, even wanting us to win the CL over their own clubs. Since Haaland joined, and knowing he is a City fan, they’ve gone all gooey and wanting us to take the world with a storm.

We are becoming a worldwide phenomenon, but that can be smashed if we don’t keep our performances up. Tonight showed that we have everything in place to keep this up for years to come.

Given the quality of our squad, the young players making it work, the great mix of old ( 30 ish) and young , he would have to be a complete d*ckhead to give up . Unless he is ill, there is no reason to move anywhere. He does not have a next challenge . The Peters principle works in footy too. He has reached his level of incompetence at City . Long may he Reign.

Re: Alvarez lots are comparing him to Aguero, and there are some similarities. But I think there is more than a touch of Tevez about him as well.
