He needs hooking. Nearly every Newcastle attack is coming from him losing the ball.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Also kovacic can be hooked. Properly out of his depth here.

Are we playing with a defence?

Something very wrong about our defence. No problem in making chances although we miss too many. Obviously Kevin has to come on but how to do that without leaving ourselves even more open to quick counters. We’ve always defended very high which is risky but we’re not getting away with it at the moment.

Agreed but that's the flup sideto him running at their defence. We were all over them leading up to our goal. Need to get in and reset at HT. 2-4 this. Newcastle are shite

How frustrating.

We played well, got the goal and looked like getting a second. They were beaten, then kovacic tried a back heel at the corner flag which gave them a half chance and ortega pissed about with a kick and then all of a sudden they had belief when there was none. Lo and behold they score their next two chances. We are way too complacent, clear lack of focus and lacking a killer instinct.

Big second half. We lose this we can say goodbye to the league. We have done well in parts and not so well in others.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing full back up and wide suits Grealish better than Doku.

Both Doku and Foden have been holding the ball too long and getting caught in possession , when actually going nowhere

Defence is a total shambles. Doku is an impact sub, not a lot more. Grealish brings more control, which would be helpful in this utter shit show.

Exactly right. Bizarre set up. Doku needs to be outside left when playing

Walker did get an assist for Bernie although the goal was far more about Bernie than the quality of the cross. For the rest he’s been shit. I don’t like him playing way up.
