If he expected Atleti to match his City package he's even sillier than we thought. Ah, the pitfalls of youth.

Cheers Jules

He was on 100 k a week - can’t that defensive shit house of a club afford that ?

Normally the players agent ties up things before the Clubs get involved. The days of tapping up are long gone. If his agent assumed Atletico would match or better City’s package it’s surprising.

Alvarez haters will be squirming

That's not going win you post of the year potato groomer.

Fancy laughing at your posts, I bet you're squirming for someone to join your little crusade. What a weak little man.

I'm not sure why the words 'grooming' and 'squirming' touched your nerve. It's starting to make sense now. Maybe I should add 'predator' to the list. That will touch your nerve. It's only you that's reacting, which makes its very suspicious. Afterall, Internet predators have a certain charm. You carry on squirming potato groomer.

What the fuck is a "potato groomer"? Bordering on racism here. Are you City64 in disguise?

I've noticed a few dodgy posts along these lines before from this lad.

There's been a few of these types over the years on here and they normally get worse before they leave.

Although, now that alvarez is going, maybe he's already left?

#alvarezhaterswillbesquirming

Noticed? Do you not have a fucking life beyond the Internet and potato grooming? Have you been stalking me? Apparently grooming a vegetable is racist

Aye, someone is holding your hands.

You’d think that PSG can afford a much better package than Atletico. Supposedly Alvarez wanted a move for football reasons. Let’s see if he ends up taking PSG’s money.

Aren't City packages heavily loaded towards bonuses, to keep the "wages" down? So he'd be getting a lot more

Footballing reasons?! The guy started 31 premier league games last season. If he’s being honest it’s not about football - it’s 100% about money

PSG have supposedly offered Alvarez 10 million euros net. I doubt Atletico can match that.

Fabrizio says Atletico have increased their offer to Alvarez. Still a gap.

He’s had his head turned. Pep will never prefer him to Haaland and playing them together hasn’t worked well. In the big matches he’d expect to be on the bench. I think he could play next to Haaland to exploit the ‘chaos’ caused by Haaland’s physical presence but that leaves us short in midfield.

Can’t accommodate someone that scored 11 goals in 31 starts just because he might leave. If that was Jesus’ return people would be moaning. Like you say, he’s had his head turned - let him go and see how other clubs are ran. Gundo is moaning about Barca again..

To be honest, I didn't expect Julian to be this stupid.
He seemed a really down to earth guy.

I am not upset he is leaving, just amazed.

Apparently his familys permit’s expired so he would have been on his own, he is close to his two brothers so maybe that played a bigger part than we know?

Anyway its good money, its good for him, all in all a deal that suits everyone. Bobb and Savio to get his minutes. Now lets hope no one else decides to leave.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would concede that he missed a few last season and didn't do as well as i thought he might but i don't think it was a poor season, just not great. Oscar Bobb is waiting in the wings and is capable of stepping up but i think we should spend the money we get .
Dani Olmo. Vinicius Junior, Musiala all worth going for but if we can't get one of them lets not panic and end up with a make weight. Plenty of decent players in the academy

11 goals in 31 starts (36 total) in the Prem. Pretty poor for a team like City that put it on a plate

True, but he also grafted and invariably put in a full shift even when he wasn't on the scoresheet. He was also prepared to be the firstline of a pressing team, something Haaland isnt the best at. Hopefully this season Haaland , Bobb, Foden, Doku, Grealish, De Bruyne and Savinho will be enough

Vassell used to graft mate - we’re not a team that applauds grafters.

Vast majority of fans main hate is for a lazy bastard. Unless you are messi and 99.99% of players get nowhere near messi levels
