Dias was obvious, Marmoush also obvious but good he did it early. Semenyo , game nearly over and he was probably feeling the knocks he had taken
Of the 3 that came on Khusanov had the pace and strength required, Cherki produced less than Marmoush , Foden no game time but could have scored

Squandered some good chances in the second half

Although Haaland didn't score , i thought he had a good game and got stuck in

The manager is useless talented players wasted with this terrorists activists say

Harry, i have supported City since 59 when i was 4 years of age going with my dad to watch City - even away games. My dad is bigger than yours.

That doesn't give me the right to ignore the fact that politics should not be discussed on the Forum.

Great first half from us—then we completely switch off and start playing like a fucking relegation-threatened side… once again.
Sorry, but this has to come down to the manager’s instructions. It can’t just be that the team suddenly develops an inferiority complex every single fucking time we play the second half of matches.
Anyone got any other plausible theory that isn’t ‘it’s the manager’s fault’? I’m all ears !!

Newcastle had an xg of 0.0 from open play in the second half. That tells you that defensively, city got it absolutely spot on.

The fact that we didn't convert our excellent chances, is on us, we should have been more clinical. The fact that you are blaming the manager for that second half performance makes you look stupid. His substitutions were also spot on too

Job done, wish we'd made it a bit more comfortable and bury any one of the 2nd half chances.

Rodders looked brilliant so having him back in form for the run in could be the most telling jigsaw piece.

I’ll refrain from going for your jugular as I have had a very good week!

We have been CONSISTENTLY shit in the second half of.matches since the turn of the year ( it’s not a one off !!! ) and you would have to be a complete fucking retard to argue otherwise.

Defending at home against a team that we always beat ?Arsenal do that and look at the state of those bottlers!!!
We look nervous fuck defending and very rarely do what we did in years gone by and that is to keep our style of play going till the end.

The question was why are we shit in every game second half - it’s Valid question.

Hardly anyone mentions khusa on here and yet I rate him a lot higher than anyone else at the back .

He’s far better than Dias in my opinion - 100-% he will be here for the foreseeable.

Thanks for refraining

I agree we have not been good in second halves recently,

However, I am talking about this game and you referenced THIS game. Peps subs were spot on, the game management was spot on defensively. The attack let us down, that's the players fault, not the manager.

Just because we have a good record against a team does not mean we automatically should be beating them. Your logic is ludicrous
