Getting yaya, kolo, and tevez back for the run in for the title can only be a good thing.

it's fucking not brilliant for us you spastic. It's brilliant for the rags and spurs cuz it's a total cocksucker of a distraction.

Tevez's apology announcement was horseshit.
Tevez is a fucking asshole.
Tevez doesn't give two fucls about MCFC.
Tevez should fuck off and never have come back to our club.

Fergie is glad this fat argie fuckface has come back to fuck with us. I can promise you that.

cheers

Not the opinion of a few fair minded rags I've spoken to. They recon they're fucked for the run in if Tevez gets in the squad.

A pre game apology to the fans at half time would go down well methinks. He gets booed, says his piece, makes peace and we can move on.

Make no mistake MCFC, he NEEDS to apologise to the fans also.

Agreed: in my book its the clincher for our first title since 1968
I'm sure Mancini will make the most of it
And I don't go with the call others are making of a formal apology to the fans.
Its done and dusted, now lets get on with it: there's a title to be won

Doomie,
Whether directly or indirectly, you employ people. Do you like them all? Dothey like you. Do they like the company they work for?
Moreimportantly, does it matter aslong as they are proffessional and efficient in the way they carry out their work?

Why is it necessary to like Tevez or even for Tevez to like us? Hazard a guess, how many City players are actually City fans? Silva? Aguerro? Mario?....I would doubt it.
Tevez was signed as a means of production to further our cause on the pitch. If someone hadn't thought we would benefit from employing him, he would be playing somewhere else. If he hadn't thought he would benefit, the same would apply.

My ticket buys me performances not players. Who and what they are is not my business, How they think and feel about City is not important. How they perform on the pitch is all that matters.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

I'd never boo a City player, but if he plays and scores there will be a little bit of sick in my mouth by the end of the match. I wish he'd stayed grazing on the Pampas instead of coming back.

Couldn't agree more. The PR-machine that is mcfc.co.uk won't suffice this time.

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Would you put someone in charge if you were concerned they were trying to undermine the senior management and there was a possibility they could deliberately sabotage the project?

Neither City nor Tevez really want each other but both need each other.
For Tevez, he needs to up his profile and value to get him a good club and a good deal for next season.
For City, we need him to up his value for a better transfer price. On the field, he gives us options and as the crunch time approaches, we need all the options we can get.

Our owners, management and players will gladly accept his apology for purely on the grounds that to do so will be the practical thing to do. Neither Bob nor Tevez will give a shit whether they like each other, it;s work.

Hasn't he only got 2 years left in summer and doesn't that mean he can buy himself out by just paying us his wages ie about £20m? If so, as long as he can prove he still looks like a footballer he can do what he wants, safe that someone will pay £20m for him

Doomie, I couldn't agree with you more - absolutely spot on.

One completely contrived and insincere apology 5 month too late, written by Mccarthy and Kia, and suddenly all is OK? Sorry, but there has to be a line that you cant cross and Tevez is so far over it its gone beyond a joke.

I dont care whether he's a good player or not, what we may gain from him playing is debatable - we are top of the league without any input from him all season - whilst what we lose by playing him in terms of our own self-respect as a club, we may never get back.

Quick historical reminder - Tino Asprilla and Rodney Marsh. Remember their late boost arrivals to their teams, and what they did to their respective teams title challenges. Tevez has significant potential to do the same as he will once again be stood inside our tent, pissing further into it.

Id suggest a counter statement from City - "Dear Carlos, thank you for your completely insincere "apology" penned for you by your representatives. Please take this and place where the sun doesnt shine, you are dead to us. All at MCFC."

I wish he had been sued by the club for his devaluation of transfer fee & could never play football again.

We didn't go down that road however, so we had a situation where a multi million pound asset has been gradually devaluing himself by being awol, but only available for purchase at a transfer fee which nobody was willing to pay but which the club was unwilling to reduce any further. Conclusion: he's still here in two years taking wages off us (see under Bridge Wayne ) or he claims constructive dismissal next season because we won't play him.

Now we have a situation where Tevez can (if Mancini decides) prove to potential suitors that he is worth the money City are offering. If he is to do this, it requires him to get some game time. That means; if Bob picks him, he has to perform well enough to persuade Bob to pick him again.

It is not in the interest of Carlos Tevez, to perform badly between now & May. It is in the interest of Carlos Tevez, to play brilliantly between now & May. That is what he will try to do, if given the opportunity. The idea he will use that oportunity in order to sabotage City is, frankly, fucking daft. He will try to win games, for Carlos Tevez. He may be shit by accident, but not on purpose.

I doubt he'll be shit if he plays.

He's been notoriously shit in the early part of the season for us though (until he gets upto speed), presumably due to his dislike for training. And he is basically in an early season phase again (or rather preseason to be precise), untrained and unfit (but reported to be back in fitness training). If/when he plays I predict he will be at best erratic from one game to the next, at worst shit.
