TEVEZ

He cheated on his wife when he was a United player and it effected City's season as his wife had left him and he had to go back and forth between Argentina and England to see his family,
He publicly moaned about Hughes being sacked,
He publicly moaned about Mancini coming in,
He publicly moaned about Mancini's training schedule,
At the end of 2009-10 season he said he wanted to leave so City mistakenly offered him more money, gave him the captaincy, got rid of certain players and said he can take holidays to go and see his family just to keep him sweet and get him to stay,
He still complained about Mancini's training schedules,
He openly showed his anger at Mancini on the pitch after an unacceptable performance (his effort levels were none existent and his product was awful) where he was substituted for Zabaleta,
Against Newcatle at home in October 2010 - out of nowhere with nothing having gone against him and nobody having wound him up - he booted the ball against the advertising boards and picked up his fifth booking of the season (to me it looked absolutely on purpose) and in the next week where he should have been training with the squad he went of on holiday but not to Argentina to see his family but with some bint to Tenerife,
After a great run of points won we were top of the Prem, but in December 2010 he came out to the media and said he hated Manchester and didn't like Mancini and put in a transfer request as he didn't want to live in Manchester or play for City anymore,
After not getting a transfer he moaned about Mancini and City as a club a bit more and moaned about our fans being obsessed by United and said he didn't like the songs we sang for him as they were more anti-United than pro-Tevez,
From February to May he didnt score a single goal from open play, his effort levels were average and his physical shape was looking quite bad,
On the way up the steps at Wembley he threw City scareves away that were given to him,
At the end of the 2010-11 season he came out to the media and slated Manchester saying there's nothing to do, there are only two restaurants, he didn't like the people and then he handed in another transfer request,
He moaned about not getting a transfer,
He moaned about Mancini again,
It was unclear whether he was even going to bother coming back to City after the Copa America, he did bother but was very late back breaking club rules,
[after this, when he came on against Bolton as a sub early this season he got a big cheer of loads of Blues in the crowd - WHAT THE FUCK?! ... I certainly didn't cheer the cunt!]
His effort levels when on the pitch were average and he was fat as fuck,
He was on the bench at Bayern München in October and when called upon my Mancini he sat there and refused to warm up and get ready to come on,
He went off to Argentina and hasn't returned since,
He's slagged off Manchester, the club, the manager constantly and said he never wanted to return,
Just before he did return he complained about Macini yet again and said he was treated like a dog,

Pretty good summary. Bizarre that some are desperate to see him play again - not just on here but listening to the post match phone in as well.

And if he scored the winning goal against United and we win the league you will be first in line to suck his cock.

Particularly as the post uses the word 'effected' instead of 'affected' - it's long enough to be an Andrew Davies post though!

I certainly wasn't going to go through spell check on a copy and paste mate......and it could have been Andy Davies post.. after all it was from BM.

Oh ... um ... I'll be honest, having kept a keen beady eye on this thread from its inception, there is some excellent defence and attack work going on from both sides over a period of time. I've just spent over an hour of my life re reading this thread from the start and you know what? ....... I haven't got a fucking clue which side I'm on at the mo ... umm.

I do know this thread is a CLASSIC

As much as I'd rather I never saw Tevez EVER again turn out for us, the press & even reading between Mancini's lines seem to be gearing us up for a return - this could well back fire spectacularly & the Tevez apologists will point the finger at Mancini for his part in the Munich debacle - to steal a famous movie line 'I have a bad feeling about this'

I haven't even cheered him since his first transfer request, so I doubt it. As I've said previously, I'd rather take our chances without him and if that means we finish second, so be it. Unlike some, I've still got some level of pride

People keep talking as if they have some say in the matter.

If it had been up to me, I'd have brought down biblical type vengance upon him, his life would be a fucking misery & his kids would end up calling someone else 'Daddy' but guess what; it's got fuck all to do with me, so I have to either accept what Mancini & the club decide, or stop supporting them. It is 'them' now, not 'him' btw as they have accepted him back into the squad.

Sorry Ted but I do have a choice.
Q. Do I accept him or not?
A. Not.

I will take my choice and leave Tevez in no doubt about my feelings towards him.

People may or may not have some say in what actually transpires but that's irrelevant.

What they definitely have the right to do is to express their opinion in the only effective way they have and that's by making their feelings toward the little turd known at the field of play.

Hang on there for one fucking second mate. If you're going to accuse fellow fans of having no pride, then you better also direct your bollox at mancini and manchester city football club, because they made the decision between them.

If you'd rather we finished second for ANY reason whatsoever, then you need to look at yourself long and hard.

Any form of booing directed at any member of the team during play in a title chasing run in is a fucking joke.

There is no in between.

Who said anything about 'during play' ? not me.

We should jeer him onto the field; ignore him while on it, then jeer him off.

If that's what a load of you are going to start doing & basically take all the fun out of a title run in, then I think I'll fucking do one & leave you to it.

Is it not possible that you could just not cheer him & let the rest of us enjoy the game in an atmosphere of fans supporting the team rather than a hostile atmosphere which will almost certainly lead to the rags winning the title ?

Re: Tevez

Postby Mikhail Chigorin » Thu Feb 23, 2012 12:40 pm

The fact that Tevez has returned, has supposedly apologised and is apparently 'back in the fold' still doesn't mean that Bobby Manc is going to play him as one of his first choice forwards, not for some considerable time at any rate.

The Club's overview might be that by, ostensibly, allowing him back into the squad and letting things quieten down on the media frenzy front, his value on the transfer market, in the summer, could increase back to a figure approaching a more realistic £40million plus, rather than the paltry £20million recently quoted.

He might find himself warming the bench for much of the remainder of the season, with just a few minutes playing time here and there when games have been won and his 'reward' for this (and accepting it for once in his life with a zipped up mouth) would be a summer transfer for big money, with the added bonus of a sizeable signing on fee for him and Kia to enjoy.

That way, the Club gets the transfer cash it merits, Tevez goes and we're shut of him for good; so everybody wins. In the meantime, Tevez would be there as back up should, by some calamitous misfortune, Aguero, SuperMario and Edin all get injured/suspended at the same time.

On that basis, City's current stance could be purely tactical and, since they've conducted themselves brilliantly so far in this drawn out saga, perhaps we should just wait and see (and perhaps enjoy) how shrewdly the Club play this hand for the next two to three months.

Just don't forget that Tevez is now a spent force with City and merely a 'yesterday's man'.

Ted is right, we have no say in whether Tevez returned or not, in fact neither did the club. This issue has not been dealt with by Mancini from quite early in. It has been decided by City owners having taken advice.
Tevez chose to return,City have no choice but accept that in order to maintain their legal (financial) position.

Mancini has played a minor rolein all of this and his public statement yesterday was what it was "A STATEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC" just as Tevez's apology was.

To my knowledge, Mancini has NOT said he will play Tevez. What he said was wholly different..."TEVEZ WILL BE CONSIDERED".
It is the media that have jumped on considered, turned it into will be and so they have created and manufactured the issue for their write up, commentaries, reports and to feed their phone ins. Again, that was a public statement to maintain City's postition

Mancini will do what is best for this club. Tevez will only be selected if it is necessary to further the interests of the team and the club.

Back on the whole booing discussion..... I disagree with all you booers....

I'd much rather applaud and cheer off the whole team, instead of booing ONE individual, by booing that one person, the whole atmosphere becomes negative. How would you feel if you were Balo/Aguero and scored a couple of goals in a match that we won, and instead of getting the acclaim from the fans that you deserve, all you hear is petulant booing from the fans.... I wouldnt particulary feel that great about it.

You have a right to voice your opinion and have your opinion, as am I, but I personally think its wrong to boo one of your own, and won't do it! Don't get me wrong, I'll be giving the argie piece of shit abuse if he ever plays, but I don't want that to have any possiblity of being construed as me being negative towards the team!

Booing will do just that!!!
