my mrs just spoke to her mum who works on school buses and she said the schools are not allowing england flags at school or on the buses because it may offend the asian community. She works in rochdale so if any one from that area heard anything?

I dont get it, is the england flag a symbol for racism?

I actually believe these things go on all the time, but it's not institutional, it's individuals who for some reason take things to the extreme, believing that they are somehow doing things for the better. Or what you could call 'Wierd Fuckers'!

I don't give 2 monkey's, no-one will tell me to take my Flag down as I'm sure it is my right as an English Citizen. Just hoping some thieving scumbag doesn't try to do a Spiderman and nick it!

I fucking hate all this 'its going to upset the asians/indians/pakistanis etc' most probably don't give a shit if you fly your flags or wear your shirt but people use it as a cop out and the only people it causes damage to are these communities because you can guarantee some fucking racist idiots will use it as an excuse to carry out attacks on ethnic miniorities

Yeah its making people think its the asian communitys pushing this through and its only going to make racial tensions worse.

It's all bullshit as many have said earlier. I live on the edge of a big mixed community and strangely there is a Polish family living up the road who are sporting an England Flag from the top window. No-one complains and the Muslim shopkeeper across the way comments regularly on how it is good that people can integrate so readily.

I spoke to a Police Sgt today and he laughed his balls off when i told him about this. For instance GMP have been rated as the 2nd worse Police Force in the UK so i cant see the big boss who is on the verge of losing his job say "hey i know i need to reduce the crime rate in Manchester i will tell my force to go and harrass people wearing England shirts and raising the flag"

Anyway i have seen come on England stickers on first buses and have also seen that Bridgefords the esaste agent have changed their to let/for sale signs to St Georges crosses which also say come on England on them. I imagine my office will have some sort of English bunting of it ( i work in a council office) seems as we had gay rainbow flag bunting on it last week to celerbrate some gayer day thing. (I shocked that i wasnt actually asked to put it up and stand there all day giving out flyers!!)

Thanks sof made me feel more positive so why are there certain people saying these things. Im gonna ring tesco's about it tommorow see what they say. Cause if the guy in the police laughed his balls off then its strange. Maybe its because big buisnesses think associating themselves with english pride they might lose buisness. Or maybe its just the staff beliveing what they want to believe.

I live in Prague. Last week the Czechs won the hockey World Cup. There were Czech flags everywhere. People wearing hockey shirts. Singing the national anthem. Speaking Czech to each other. I was so offended. Ing-er-land were not even in the finals. A tall blonde came over to me and wanted to kiss me. I reported her to the Police. How dare these beer-swilling, pork-eating, puck-shooting people celebrate this victory?

Some fool down here in Cornwall said that places should fly the St Pirans Cross (black on white, Cornish flag) instead of the standard of St George. I believe Mebyon Kernow (Cornish Independents) swept the board in the elections with about 2,000 votes in total from all of Cornwall's 6 constituencies.

I guess it's the curse of a democracy that these people are firstly given airtime by idiot radio stations and secondly aren't locked away where they belong.

Now this isnt the police this must be tesco's management, im calling them tonight to see whats going on and if this country is going mad.
