Agree with Doug, we just came out & won it. Job well & truly done after 15 mins. Then it was a training exercise.

Interesting formation with sometimes only 2 at the back, 4 in midfield & 4 up front. As Bob says; we will have to be better at holding the ball if we're going to play like that again in the future but it shows what we are aiming for & I like it. Definite hint of Barca about the way the attacking 4 swapped positions, with Silva sometimes ahead of Balotelli & Dzeko. intriguing glimpse of what may be.

Clear to me though, that even though they all did ok, both tonight's fullbacks & also Balotelli will have to step up another level to be worth a place in a future Chump's Lg challenging City team. Boateng did well at CB though but it was an easy game to play. Kolarov's delivery was truly awful & he can't run or turn. Big improvement needed.

Dzeko was fantastic tonight, really enjoyed his goals aswell. You could see it meant a lot to him when he scored.

Mario is such a talent but he gets so frustrated when hes not playing out of his skin.Honestly dont know what to make of him but he can certainly play footbal

Yesterday was a good day, Boateng fit in nicely a cb and was well composed, Lescott also had a good game at cb to nice and solid, was an exciting first 20-30 minutes we played great, can't wait to see more of it.

Pleased as hell for Dzeko, should have been 3 and he did deserve it, if anyone ever questions his workrate they are truely idiotic, he must cover as much ground as Tevez surely, Aris fans were a laugh and the ones I got talking too were a laugh, I think our support were fairly up for a bit of noise making as well last night was a fairly good atmosphere in 110, see you guys next Wed

p.s comedy moment of the night for me as usual.. boring boring joey... joey the do the poznan.. and he does it :) top lad

I wouldnt say an all out attacking festival at all. excellent first 20 or 30 minutes and then took the foot off the gas and strolled the rest in total control. Got a bit boring I thought at times.

Let's face it Aris were garbage in any sort of attacking sense.Far too easy to go overboard it was an nice easy win,I hope no bad injuries and bring on the next game.

Yeah just seen the highlights on the OS, still it was nice to see Silva, Tevez, Dzeko and Balotelli all lining up at the same time.
