I don't think that city have any statements that have merely supported Kolo's good character but must be ver aware of the danger of frther comment that could have a detrimental effect on the legal issues. They must also be very aware of the club's reputation and how the club will be perceived.
I also don't think that city have any choice in keeping quiet. They obviously know more of the facts and will have been instructed by the City legal team to stay silent.
Mancini merely commented that Kolo was loved like a man and a player and that the win was dedicated to him. He then made it plain that he was under instruction to say no more.
