if he says he's staying then i'll forgive him and have a broner. i'm not fussy. he is irreplaceable. You are right ethically, but you can't ignore the fact that he's one of the top 5 players in the world right now. At least i can't.

Yeah I get what your saying but i liken it to your bird cheating on you. You love that fucker sooooooo much but the bitch let you down big time, you agree in time to take them back but they are tarnished to you and a bit of that love you had for them died. Eventually you love them again but that doubt forever lingers over you. Thats how I feel about you Carlos Tevez!!!

You need to move on Wozza....we'll never really understand what exactly went on at Xmas but if he stays just get it behind you and enjoy next season. I know that he's probably the best player I've ever seen in a City shirt, complete package-wise, and he's all hard work and big balls....no flair....he's your kind of player. You know it, I know it....you have to move on, just sit back and enjoy the ride

Ha ha ha, but do you want him to?

I admitted I was biased with regards him being in the team as I went fucking mental when he put in a transfer request..so yes..I was guilty as charged.
But come on....the guys fucking immense for us and we need him..noone can replace him..at least noone that I can honestly say will take off from where he left off on....so yes mate.. I'm fucking ecstatic hes staying.

I'm with you all the way mate.

I don't care where his heart is or how he behaves towards us off the pitch, it's what he does on the pitch that matters to me. The one thing we have been able to guarantee is that, no matter what has gone on in the background, he had always seemed to give his all on the pitch.
When you buy the ticket, that's all you pay for. As long as he does what he does best on the field and his off the pitch activities don't affect that. I'm happy.

I guess you guys are far more forgiving and in time if he stays I will warm to him again but he behaved like he was bigger than MCFC and no one player is. Sorry that's just me, I'm not very forgiving esp when it comes to City. I have it on good authority he was being a greedy cunt like his fat scouse mate and that is why I'm digging my heels in.

My biggest issue was that he form and goal scoring sloped off alarmingly after he did the transfer request u-turn, only really returning for the Stoke home game, where to be fair he was great. If he stays then hopefully it means that he's settled the family stuff that's screwing with his head and can lead us on another level next season.

I don't think that's true, I'm sure I remember him playing a blinder shortly after that happened. He was often limping badly at the end of games because he wasn't fully fit. He played when he shouldn't, for the sake of the team. Once he'd had a break & some treatment, he came back, still not at 100% & did his best once again.

I'm not sure I'll ever feel he's fully part of our club even if he stays after what's happened but I never see a reason to question his effort on the pitch & even if he knew he was leaving next Christmas, he'd still give us 5 months at 100% before he went.

He is absolutely made for Premiership football and always will be.

His work rate and attitude on the pitch is fantastic along with most of the Argentine players who have graced our league.

Virtually ireplaceable in his current form.

If he stays we will win the Prem next season, if he has to go £80m minimum or goes back to Argentina to be true to his word.

He's got a fantastic ability to wriggle into a shooting position on his right foot even when very tightly marked. And when he gets in those positions he's got a helluva right peg. He's a greedy cunt but then most top strikers are. That plus his workrate; where the hell would we find someone to replace him? He may be a pain in the arse off the pitch but here's our pain in the arse I hope. Bottom line we'll do better next season with him than without him.

Please stay Carlos.

I've never loved the ex rag. He can do what he likes. So long as if we lose him we can replace him with one of Doomy's top 5 world players.

I'd like to pick up on that.. how good authority.. and why if that is so sure have we not heard even a squeek about it ?
I'm not having a go at you or sitting in Carlos's pocket but i distinctly dislike rumour and hearsay masquerading as fact pandering to our prejudices and beefs. How sure are you Sis that this is 100%..ie. would you or who you heard it from say this under oath in court?

If you know me you will be aware that I have friends within the club that's about all I will say on it. Don't know why they would lie to me and it seems pretty feesbale and follows the course of what modern day footballers do, it also IMO ties in with the club statement when it went on about him being the biggest earner at the club, why did they have to put that bit in??

i am sure he was being a greedy cunt. he wants it all so he can skip out in a couple years back to Argentina and know he made a mint and not have to go somewhere else to do it. i'm not sure why we don't just wack some fucler making 90K a week like Bridge and just hand Carlitos his check as well. he's worth whatever he wants within reason...even if it's 50K more per week than any other player in the Prem imho. Why shouldn't he get it? In his mind this team is prollee fucked without him. I know that's also the essence of your issue Andie, but realistically he's just getting bad advice and it's exploiting some weaknesses i feel in Tevez character that are mercenary and made him look dispassionate about our club and our fans. But i don't beleive he feels that way about City or the fans. And if he does? That's 95% of any professional athlete these days. Some athletes will leave a club they love for more money or a chance to compete on a higher level with better players in a more challenging league, etc. Ahem. As long as they go out and keep a clean sheet who can bitch about them?

i'd agree the timing and the attitudes were poor. Piss poor. but honestly Captain Caveman doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer...and a couple convos with Kia Fuckface probably convinced him they needed to act now im mid-season while City were vulnerable. And i'm sure there were some bullshit broken half-promises or stories yet to be told by Cookie and Marwood on the marketing or selling side or player acquisition side which made Tevez feel justified in some fashion.

I'm hoping the realization that no one can or will put forward the wedge to buy him and pay him will calm him down. Someone should give him some good counsel about Kia and how fucking stupid he makes his client look. Only one man for that job and it's Mad Frank. Or Andie. Whichever.

cheers

Fair enough and obviously i respect that you have a lot of friends at the club and in good positions there to know stuff. I agree that it seems feasible, but then things always do if we want them to. I appreciate your saying this but i remain very sceptical about it and the motives of both Tevez and the Club hierarchy. It could still easily be 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, with both sides covering their backs and blaming the other. For me there is something that never added up in all this and i'm afraid i dont trust either side to tell us the truth.
