They were a banana skin alright.

In the first half I didn't think we played to Mario and Kun's feet enough. In the second half we just lacked the clear cut chance. Shoot Dave!!!

Top game, roll on Sundyland!

Actually, today feels like the City of old. It feels comfortable. All this winning has felt a bit bizarre. Ees normal.

4 points would have been the absolute minimum necessary haul from WBA/Sunderland (A), so all they've done is put a heap of pressure on themselves to go and win at a place where we dropped a titanic bollock last season.

They had better fucking pull their finger out soon because Sunday is likely to be harder than today was.

The plan against us at the moment is to flood their own defensive third with their players and hope they can cling on until we run out of ideas and take our foot off the gas, then they have a go. Pretty much every time we've lost points it's been the same.

Well if we match them for effort, we should beat them.

To be fair to Ray, he gave them problems even when he was at Fulham. I remember a 3-0 when they were head to head with the Scouse, for the title.

If you looked at a video of today's game, I recon you'd find about 20 occasions where we had a shooting opportunity & didn't take it. Score one today & we probably score five. If we do our job, we win these games but if we play the same way v Sunderland we can easily get shut out there too. It's all down to us; the whole season is down to us.

But, we didn't. And they hit the post and were damn unlucky not to score themselves. Today was the banana skin. Despite Doomy's misgivings we always do well against O'Neill. We'll stuff them.

I happen to know for a fact that MON the ex city player holds OUR club in the highest regard. Perhaps he enjoyed beating City at Villa because he had a decent side we were always there and there about with them.

I am sure he would enjoy beating us on Sunday as well, We are the team to beat these days.

Doomy's misgivings? Didn't MON resign after we finally prised Milner away? After taking Barry prior to that? I guarantee he has City voodoo doll that he wants to sprinkle some death potion onto. Sure, he can blame the American owner not letting him spend, but i bet in his mind if he could have kept his team intact he'd be pressing for a top 6 finish again year after year and now, he's at Sunderland.

Remember that scene in Seven where the killer makes the dude fuck the girl with the razor studded strap-on? He'd like to take us like that if he could.

great news. i happen to think a lot of managers find our position one of envy that drives a lot of bitterness and makes the match against us even more special. That's my point..

This & the Fulham result are bankers for a title challenging team. Imo, we shouldn't have lost v Chelsea but games like that & the Liverpool game are bonus games. Today & Fulham are title losers. We can't afford many more.
