Just got called bitter by a rag because I dared to suggest it was only a decent signing by them and not amazing!
"What have I got tot be bitter about? My club isn't the one that's trophy-less!"

Que no comeback.

I can't believe we sold to them.

Ah, well. Someone mentioned on the first page about how us Gooners would feel about van Persie. He's probably an uber-c*nt. More so than Cole, more than Adebayor and more than Nasri (tbh, I wasn't too concerned about Nasri leaving at the time)

I'm not sure if it's the "freshness" of it, but I actually hate van Persie now. He was the one who was supposed to buck the trend, the one to stop the exodus, the one who was going to stick two fingers to those referring to Arsenal as a 'feeder club'.

He's, perhaps, universally hated, too. He'll get booed at Anfield and the Etihad (purely because of his Manchester United connections) and he wouldn't be welcome at Stamford Bridge or White Hart Lane, either (given his ex-allegiance to us). This, I believe, will make van Persie crack. His head is very fragile (as his his all-round health) and all that hatred won't make him stronger (as it does with, say, Rooney). It'll make him significantly weaker.

I dunno. I just hope your lot tear them a newer, wider one next season.

I hope the rapist gets a decent reception when he returns to you guys. That's if he's not already snapped his leg in the game before

A rapist goes to the club that has been raping English football for the last 20 years. Match made in heaven.

I love how all the sudden assists are the fucking be all and end all of football and sky sports news are parading assist tables all over the shop.

The rags have gone and managed to win the league before they have even kicked a ball with one fucking signing. I hate the media.

I got rid of Sky but am seriously contemplating getting it back. I'm just addicted, positive or negative.

Rags generally thought he was a cunt too, so they won't be that hot on him if he doesn't impress. I think he likes being a cunt though, they generally do.

There´s no doubt it's a desperation signing. But if it brings the league back it's a gamble worth taking. However when you think they didn't manage a single shot last time out against us, it doesn´t matter a jot who's up front, it's their middle and defence that's their problem. And in fact you could argue that if he plays Shrek and RVP, the back 9 is even weaker.

I think what pissed me off most about this signing is the way the media have portrayed it. I was sat in a waiting room with the Mrs yesterday and their happened to be Friday's Currant Bun sat poking out from the girly mags. Take a peek, I thought, not read it for years, things will have changed, I thought. Well, have they fuck, its still a Rag licking piece of shite!

The back page was all about Van Pussy which is understandable. The next 2 pages are then all about Van Pusswank, United and the Piss-can from McGovern. The piece de resistance was soon to follow, the 4th page (yes, the fucking 4th continuous page) was once again all about United and in particular was a picture of baldy-headed Shrek lifting the Premier League trophy!

Are these fuckers for real, it's as if they're trying to erase the past and inprint a difference version of events. Serves me right I suppose, the last time I picked the shite paper up was early last season when we were cruising at the top. The table had the league with alternate stats, showing strange instances such as how many minutes an English player had on the pitch, how many goals had been scored from corners and strangely, how many throw-ins had been conceeded etc. You'll never guess who was top of that table, will you.

Anyway, sorry, I just thought I'd share.

Oh, and Pusswipe is still a Cunt and I hope we bring back Ade for just one game.

Their problem isn't scoring goals. Their problem is conceding them.

They conceded four more than we did and were clear second defensively by a significant margin last season, they also scored 4 less. In four of the previous five season had they ended the season equal on points with a +56GD they would have won the league(The exception being Chelsea's +71 three seasons back). That result aside, only two of those cases was that GD equaled or beaten and both times by them.

I know Mancini is trying to keep the city players and fans level headed, the last thing he wants to do is provide them with even more reasons to accelerate their egos, but Bob, surely you are tricking the world when you say the rags have the best quartet in the world!
They have two good strikers & two ok strikers. We have two world class strikers, a striker who on his day can mix with the best of them and then another one that plays brilliantly with confidence and game time.
You're not tricking me Mr Bob.

Bob was just getting in the reverse mind games before the press start badgering him with it. If he said we have the best, rag media people will mither him at every press conference each time RVP comes back from injury & scores.
