But his situation last season typifies in a nutshell the peculiarities of Roberto Mancini, especially his man management and strange use of tactics. Only he could buy a 6' 4" striker and play him in a team without wingers.
because overlapping full backs can't provide crosses and if we play with wing backs people might die...
Who needs these newfangled overlapping full backs and and wing backs when it's much more of a challenge to tippy-tappy around on the edge of the penalty area?

His record with us as good as it gets for games started. Give that boy the service forget his flaws and play to his strengths he will amass goals. Not my fav player TBH but he scores goals, when others are after the perfect goal, Gomez is the same.
I have a strong feeling that going with the three strikers we have now would not be the end of the world if more power and pace was added in other areas of the pitch. I'd like us to sign Cavani but think that Carlos, Dzeko and Serg are all capable of scoring twenty goals + given the right service.
As an aside I think Big Dave will benefit greatly from there being more pace around him. It's so much easier to slide balls through when there are quick players.
That's 100% on the money.
We have the strikers already, the question is can we extend Carlos' contract. I would like a young player(from the academy if possible) as a 4th striker and (with any luck) a good experienced pay-as-you-play free transfer as a backup, Vieira style signing.
If we can trade Dzeko for Cavani I wouldn't say no though.

Are you cross about it?
(Tell me if we've done this already and I'll do something else).
Have you seen Memento?
Cheers

But he said in the interview himself that 'To be coached by people like Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho would be a pleasure'
So SSN engineer that statement for Chelseas favour. Cunts.
I'd still give Natalie Sawyer one tho....
