Boateng has been playing very well in the Bundesliga for a long,long time. Bayern do not have any problems with the guy. He fits comfortably in a three or four man defence and is growing into his role( Bayern have allowed this) , as a 'Stammspieler( automatic choice)'.

I genuinely cannot see a future for Mangala at City. He did the most basic of mistakes in the first half when he turned the ball in towards his own goal against a Swansea player , then lost it . When all he needed to do ( and he is left footed) , was to turn and punt it to row Z.

The man is a nightmare and money talks too much. In lower divisions he would get an absolute bollocking for such stupidity.

I dont know anything about Boatengs performances , but Bayern won the league again so I wouldnt have thought their defense is a problem.
