Watching Soccer Saturday, after we scored first Merson simply said 1-0 game over. Stelling looked quizzically at him to suggest, “really, there is still over 70 minutes left” and Merson just basically said can you see any other result from now?

That’s how ruthless we are. Teams now almost have the mentality of we will just try and avoid a pasting and would take a 2-0 loss.

It’s very much a continuation that may not stop. Palace we’re dogshit tonight, probably even worse than that, but still took the lead. Dippers will eventually get it right in attack, maybe the red card will even help them, but their defence really does seem to be creaking at the seams; no balance at all.
