Maybe we'll get money back on Nunez,?

Fingers crossed but I shan't hold my breath

Apparently Stefan Borson estimates it will take "between 1 and 3 months from the end of the hearing" to reach a decision about the case!

I most certainly hope it doesn't go on and on. Every penny we give to those parasites is money we cant spend on football.

Which is the whole basis of our objection. IF we win, we get to do exactly that - spend whatever we deem as appropriate not be dictated to by an organisation that is serving the greater good of the cartel. I get that you're referring to the legal side but it will be money well spent

We’d only give them money if we lose, I’d imagine, and we’ll probably have to pay their court costs. Otherwise, the longer it goes on, the more the Premier League are spending on lawyers they can’t afford. We can afford it, it doesn’t take away from our spending. It’ll kill off the Prem though.

Personally I don't think it's as black and white as that, imo we will still be constrained in our spending by rules we have agreed to, but they will have to rewrite recent amendments to comply with commercial law. We are arguing recent rule changes introduced are unlawful, they will have to change the unlawful bits, imo it's not going to be the Wild West in spending just yet? We'll have to wait and see what comes out...

They will 100% have to re write their rules and regulations but if City's business model suffered then compensation will be on the table.
As with any contract , you cannot just make it up as you go along just to employ someone with rules that you feel benefit your company but go against the 'rules of the land'.

I tried that once and ended up doing a U turn before it got too complicated.

Our complaint is that the new rules are unlawful under English/British law. I assume our case was to show that was true, with their lawyers arguing the other way. I'm no expert in law but how the feck can it take 1 to 3 months to match the arguments to the statute books and come to a decision? It should be black and white - it's either lawful or unlawful, no grey areas???

The results of us suing the PL will be aired the week before we start the 115 trial.

Unfortunately it's not black and white, apparently a very complex area of law, Stefan Borson described it as 'nuanced', he's not convinced we will be successful?

Him and that Wyness can just shut the fuck up. End of. Might send them some 'cease and desist' letters myself!
