Just got back. Cooked in the sun, roasted. Rico Lewis, what a gem. Kyle Walker is not at this level. Rico for England, has to be.

Good to see the verdict on today's game from a clearly discerning public audience

No mention of the stone wall peno on MOTD.

Must not have happened.

The one where Grealish was booked?

Never a booking but in all honesty I thought it more a coming together than a stonewall. I’d have been very disappointed if that was given against us

Did they show the incompetent ref booking Grealish for a coming together. Clear bias and I’ve seen this referee doing matches in the championship and thought he was terrible then. Really wish Pep and the club said something.

What a great day, the welcome for Gundo, the continued brilliance of Rico, Savinho is getting better and better. Kova superb again until the injury. The Viking again and the pass from Kev to him for his 2nd was genius.
Only downsides were Ederson for the goal and his other brain brainfart that he got away with plus Stones in the DM role doesn't work. Gundo can do it, we know that.

Rico was class again. Shame about his miss, would have liked to see his name on the score sheet. But he’s keeping Walker well out of the team at the moment.

Very early days, I'm a cynical bastard about us, like most, but we seem to have a few more options in the make up of the squad. Lewis was superb yesterday he is such an intelligent player and gets himself into scoring positions compare that to captain dick and I know who I want as RB. Gundo coming back with Kova in there means we can rest Rodders and I hope we do that until the international break and have him in for rhe arse game. We need back up for the Viking, but, with Foden and Gundo along with KDB and Bernie there's enough to cover a short absence. Just a shame for Bobb, add him to this mix and we would be sorted

Huge bonus that Sav has come in and fit in perfectly. Really is Mahrez II

Honestly don’t see what people see with Doku. I think he’s clumsy, Wanchope of the winger world.

VAR would have had to look at the penalty whether the ref gave a yellow for diving or didn't. If VAR thought it was a penalty then the yellow card would be rescinded. The fact it didn't only shows that they didn't think it was a penalty but they may not have agreed it was a dive.

Surely the fourth minute wrestling of Erling to the ground was THE penalty. Aside from the clear trip on Savinho. For Ipswich, i thought he turned into Savinho making it look worse than it was. As for Jacks booking, that was just bad refereeing, he is clearly fouled.

I'll have to watch it again but to me it looked like the defender stood on Jack's foot and lost his boot in the process?

The view from behind the defender shows him kicking across Jacks shins.
