I think you need to embrace the idea that people have opinions and this is a forum for expressing those opinions, right or wrong, know it all or know nothing, they are all welcome even if they get torn to shreds. Usually it's easy to spot the ones who think they know too much when in fact they know fuck all, they tend to end their posts with the word "FACT!"

Depends if Chelsea will then. They're not likely to offer the same wages (don't believe the £160k a week, but we'll have to pay him more for no chumps league, even if it's as a bonus for getting us there), so the agent is 10% of the difference down. Hopefully some of the work City has been doing behind the scenes with other clubs is to try to squeeze the agents. This is a perfect case - Silva hasn't asked for a transfer, so will get about 10% of the fee i.e. £3m. His agent will get a big chunk of that. His wages will probably double, so his agent gets a nice earner out of that too. All his agent has to do is meet our reps at a place of his choosing and at our expense, spend 10 minutes listening to numbers he could previously only dream of before convincing Silva to sign. Can't see what he's done to earn his normal pay there, let alone several million on top.

I put a comment on that article. Basically I said the mysterious un-named mail reporter said precisely the opposite yesterday, and politely enquired if they were making it up as they went along. To do so I had to promise not to say anything to upset anyone, give them my name, location and email addy. Then I had to verify I had recieved their email. Then I had to join their club and generally sell my soul to them.
And after all that,they haven't printed my comment.
