Before leaving to the office early this morning I read a PM message that deemed me to a deep reflection. The sender, is a person who I am not been lucky enough to have met even once - YET - but who I have the certainty that he is one of the 10 most influential person I have happened to know in my lifetime: as many of the resident Folks on here - and probably MORE of most of them - he is a TRUE BLUE who have spent a life time loving and caring of MCFC with the same effort and passion - maybe even more - than loving and caring of HIS OWN FAMILY.
Now, I've been posted countless times on the saga and I think my opinion on mr. Marwood has been clearly understood by almost everyone, despite my spelling limits.
I am not a rag-like fan, I do not want to have a team of 11 Messi to chant for, I do not feel compulsory to win shitloads of potteries to be happy.
As many others on here, I have a big ego and I certainly had taken on numerous arguments with the selfish attitude of those who want to make a point at any cost, BUT I swear this is not the case: I was and still am convinced that having a mediocre, unexperieced player in such a key role for the Club is slowing the growth of the Club success, with I do understand is bound to double-wire with the growth of the Club income and thus FFP complaince (which, for the records, I still believe not be a serious threat to the Club).
BUT, once reiterated - for the very last time - what I think in my humble opinion best for the Club, I WANT TO PRAY ALL OTHER FELLOWS MANCITYFANS.NETTERS to stop for a while, make a thoughtful reconsideration of all the MOANING and NEGATIVITY that most of us have spread in the last days and listen carefully to the concerned warnings raised by most of OUR SENIOR POSTERS.
It doesn't matter who are right or who are wrong on the Marwood issue, the various ideas on what's better policy to get through the FFP weapon thrown at us, WHAT ONLY MATTER IS STABILITY AT MCFC, in the certainty that the CLUB is blessed by the best OWNER and the BEST CHAIRMAN ever appeared in the Football World.
SO, please Mates, let's all stop moaning (starting by me), STAND RIGHT BEHIND THE CLUB and wait for even better times that certainly shall come: it doesn't matter if it will take and year or two more than some of us would wish, nor it doesn't matter which manager or palyers will come out from the tunnel next.
ONLY MCFC count and do not need "Scapegoating and lynch mobs have been a sad feature of City fans for many years", to quote the wise man.
