Denis Law - you could be forgiven for thinking that he was a complete red tw@t based on his fawning over everything un*t*d but he had two spells at city

Mpenza was class for us i thought, even though his goals to game record wasnt good he was magnificant up front on his own towards the end of the season we nearly got relegated. Prob Pearce's most important signing. he was a free agent outside the transfer window, if his knees werent made of glass he would of had a great career i think.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about the "1990's nobodies" who played when we were potless? No idea what happened to any of: David Kerr, Jez Quigley, Kare Ingebrittsen, David Morley, Chris Greenacre, Nick Fenton, Gary Mason.

Jez Quigley ended up as a bad man on Coronation Street. His brother Mike is currently Garry Flitcroft's assistant at Chorley FC.

Chris Greenacre played for Tranmere before moving out to the A-League. Been here three or four seasons, now.

I was at Platt Lane for a youth game once, stood behind the lino, when he called Greenacre offside with a quite pathetically bad decision which caused me to let out an involuntary , loud "Noooo" at which point Greenacre looked over at me and shouted "He's taking the fucking piss isn't he ?".

It was one of those 'you had to be there' situations but it created much hilarity amongst the specatators.

I was at the reserve game in 2001 between Newcastle and City at Newcastle Falcons ground. I wandered off for a piss and passed Terry Cooke as he was about to launch a corner to Negouai and Shuker and the like. I did a quick "I'm not worthy" routine a la Wayne's World. Got a good laugh in context.
