No worries. I was just about reaching the end of my tether there, had to ring about 9 people from my team all told.

I'll come down too, see how I feel.

Course it was an accident. Ashton is a gentle sole on the pitch. ;)

You're a misunderstood artist Ashton!

I had a pretty good view of it, and to be fair to Ashton, the lad was half the size of him and came clattering into him at speed. I dunno if he thougt Ashton would get skittled, leaving him to emerge with the ball, but that really wasn't ever gonna happen.

One question remains....did he mean it? The bleeding lad thought you had a ring on cos of the cut, but who the hell where's a ring on their elbow? You'll be getting hyped up in the papers and sued next....

Re the game, we always had the beating of those lot, we just couldn't hit a cow's arse with a handful of gravel in the first half. Once the shooting boots were on, they were visibly demoralised and soundly thrashed to within an inch of their lives.

what is strange is the league has 8 teams which means a 14 game/week season. We have played 8 and only have 3 more games according to their fixture list on the website?

Haha, seems like the refs must be compiling the fixtures as well as recording the results! They get our bloody scores wrong half the time, the tits.

Will try and get one. Not too confident that will happen though, especially for a ten pm ko.

Bob, if theres an option to cancel or re-arrange then Id like to do it?

As if theres only Chris, Ashton, Jerome & Mark with an extra 1 thats enough but its whether or not they wanna spend that amount of money on the game?

There is no ric or me and we cannot cance as we have to pay anyway.
Chris, can you get any mates?

All my enquiries drew a blank. Most of them were greeted with '10 o'clock!? Are you mental? No chance!'

I would be less than gutted if the oppo cancel tonight. Wish I knew more voodoo.

Thanks to Chris, Mark and Ric for trying all avenue's but you cant blame them for not wanting to play I suppose. 10PM is a bitch.

Good luck fellas, I have sorted out hopefully 2 players from Powerleague to give us a sub.

Chris, text me the score if you get a chance please?
