Dzeko had an excellent assist and few nice passes towards flanks. Few more players with similar efforts wouldnt hurt. While Im not sure what are you looking at.

we have put in plenty of crosses, Dzeko just never attacks any of them. The idea that "if we just get a winger, Dzeko will be a 30 goal/yr player" is a complete myth

I think part of the ossue is that when we do cross the ball in, our forwards are never on the front foot because we insist on beating the fullback so many times. It's quick ball we need, and we have nobody to provide it

Watch us get a player over the summer who puts in early balls... and Dzeko still doesn't score off them. People on here will then say "the crosses are coming in too fast and give the striker no time to make a run"

If a striker is good, they will find a way to score from any type of cross. Just put it in the general area and trust the striker to have enough motivation to really attack it.
