Do you know, I was thinking exactly the same. Watching every one of their games so far I'd say that Evra has been pushing himself to the max and, for me, he's been their best player. Some of the stuff hasn't come off but he's really trying to push the team on.

What now though, after the various moves by Moyes would he really feel at home there, knowing that the rest are looking at him as a gonner.

Rather strange in my book and I can only guess he's on big money (he did get the armband didn't he).

Wasn't the intention though to play one of them as a left winger? Or so I've heard.

Was it? Who told you that mate, a Rag mate?

It's been obvious for a while that the Rags want rid of Evra, for whatever reason and this season's just proved it.

An amazing window for them honestly. Clear winners in the transfer window by heads and shoulders. They've built a team for the next 5 years on the back of the likes of Monkey boy, tom huddleston and Cocker basically....along with Scotty Parker and Dempsey.

Shrewd from the Heebs. Shrewd.

cheers

That's a big call, Doomy. I just hope they've improved enough to finish above arsenal.

A big call indeed - I'm not convinced to be honest. Some decent players though for this season a lot depends on how quickly they all settle in, they have midfielders in abundance - will they all play as often as they would like?

And 4 recognised strikers consisting of

Adebayor
Defoe
Kane
Soldado.

I've not been impressed by what little I've seen of Soldado for Spain. Both his prem goals were penners. Defoe may have an important role for them still. I know Lamela can also play up front.

I think the Arse will still finish above them this season

Does Adebayor count? I don't think he even featured in their pre-season games, did he?

Read on the sky sports app.

The rags after being blown out by herrera have said they were never in for him and the 3 officials that turned up at atletico were not representing united. Just some random lawyers pretending to represent united.

But moyes might decide to buy him in January if he fancies it then.

Fucking hilarious. They just can't handle the fact that nobody wants to sign for them.

The 3 Kings mate, they mustn't have fancied it. 'Not sold, YourNotTalking Sense, and myrth', all in one.

These are the same 3 Spanish Lawyers that acted on behalf Of Javi Martinez to broker his deal to Bayern Munich. I am sure they will be mightily pissed off that UTD have publicly stated they were nothing to do with them, when they clearly went into the League Headquarters, stated they were acting on behalf of the Rags, advised they will pay the release clause (which according to Guilleme Balague is the correct process) and then get told that the player does not want to go and they leave after 2 hours of waiting.

Rags made a right dogs dinner of the window.Microphone head is a decent player i suppose but im sure they were hoping to sign better quality, honestly some of them really thought they were bringing back Tranny. On top of that they have been well and truly fleeced by Everton for him.It was a nice touch by Madrid last night announcing Coentrao leaving only to later retract the statement.

Fellaini is no ally of Gollum, he's out for himself.

A rag mate did seem to reckon that was the case. To play Coentrau/ Baines in a more attacking role. I've heard Coentrau can also play well as a left winger. I don't know for sure though and don't really care too much tbh.
But Evra is still a good player and not sure why they would want rid of him.

That's not quite right. Apparently the release clause was only in place until July 31st. The rags let it run out, because they thought they could penny pinch a bit (hence the ludicrous combined offers for him & Baines). Piss funny either way, but I'd say even funnier how it really turned out in the end.

But would he be with the RAGs now if someone other than Moyes had taken the RAG job and Moyes was still at Everton? Personally I don't think so.

As it turns out, yes he is.

The previous record for an overseas buy to the premier league I believe was Aguero at £38M

Yeah, it's Torres, but for some reason Tevez was listed for a long time at £46M, which has now changed back to £25.5M.

BTW, Ibra has the most money in all transfers combined, want to guess who's in second?
