Strange how you can come away a 4.2 win and feel a tad disappointed we didn't get at least 5. Nowt special at all today but 4 goals again and of course it could have been more. A tad sloppy at the back at times but it basically came from Noone and our total inability to handle him.

I blame Demich before Hart for that shocker. Too old and too slow, simply let his man go in the six yard box. That is not good defending at all.

Aguero scored goals like this before too, this particular style of scoring is very similar to Messi

He played Demi ahead of Lescott. Please don't pretend Nastasic would have been an improvement.

Of all our defensive options, Lescott is far and away the best partner for Kompany.

Then we need a 3rd (decent) defender to challenge those two.

Even I could tell it was Lescott's fault but then I forgot Hart is your number 2.

Easy, Nastasic is much better than both of them.

We really need to rest players for west ham and Watford now. A weeks rest will do us good coming into feb and 2 hard games in spurs away and Chelsea at home. Then barca later on in the month and a cup final 2 weeks later. You can pretty much gauranfuckingtee they will move the derby into march somewhere. Probably 2 days before arsenal away.

What are you on about you daft cunt???
Hart was average before the second goal and then was demoted to shite after he stood and watched without being impeded.

Typically Demi starts passing the ball forward, much more than Kompany. Demi(might have touched the ball as much as midfielders) passes to Yaya/wings and Pellegrini might be seeing that as important for starting attacking play and prefers him over Nasti and Lescott.

An overall good performance, great to see Sergio back scoring in the league, Dzeko worked his socks off and Garcia was fantastic but Demichelis wasn't on the pace and Joe Hart was back to his static worst again, he was soft for their first goal and gifted cardiff the second for no good reason other than he couldn't be arsed getting off the line and taking command of his box - a ball that close to the line should be the keepers every time. We don't deal well with corners and we fail in that regard because Joe can't deal with corners.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.
