Funny old game innit!
Very entertaining stuff this 2nd half. Just hold on PLEASE
DUring the first half I was seriously questioning my passion for this game.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I know it's a lot of money etc etc but continually watching that old shite Sunderland produced in the first half is fucking depressing.
Thank Christ Yaya scored.

Please tell me again why did we let him go and spent millions on another backup keeper?
He never performed consistently better than Hart and City seldom get these types of games where the Keeper gets called into action repeatedly. IMO. He's a good keeper but he never took or even got the chance to overtake Hart and he wants to be Romania's number one keeper. I think it was right of him to go and right of us to let him go.
As for Caballero, I wonder if he's stuck in a bit of catch 22. He perhaps needs a few games to show that he's better than Hart (if he is better that is) but he only gets one or two games. IMO, the curse of the second keeper is that any keeper needs quite a few games to get to know his defence and build a working relationship with them but second keepers rarely get the chance to do that. You either need the blind faith of the manager or an injury (in this case on Hart) to take make the goalkeeper position yours, whereas players in other positions will get more chances to prove their worth over a season, especially in the UK where you have three cups.

the commentator mentioned "anti-football" but then went on to priase sunderland .. I guess it's fine when it potentially trips up city.

do you know what, swfc will attack more than sunderland in the fa cup this weekend, bad first half and a great 2nd half, but to lose a 2 goal lead again. and sunderland made a game of it in 2nd half which give us more chances as they went for another goal

The usual boring tactics by Sunderland but what a game once the goal went in, our one man team gets another 3 points, come on Spurs.

Interesting stats. 32 shots 12 on target versus 4 shots 4 on target. 14 fouls to 7 which suggests we pressed hard.

Fucking glad we aren't playing a big Prem game at weekend. Defence looked like Dad's Army in the last 20.
Hope we'll use a couple of the kids, at least on the bench, next game.

Thank Frank for that. 3 points secured. Panti played a blinder but was made to look better by pathetic finishing from Milner, Navas and Ferni. Could have been 6 or 7, a hat trick for Frankie !!

I still find it strange that when we got 3.2 up we were still piling forward and an attack broke down leaving us with 4 players stranded in their penalty box and 2 others just outside.I think Zaba was the furthest forward. Reminiscent of Roma!
We just don't have it in us to lock the game up but to be fair in that last 7 or 8 minutes or so at the end they never got at us again and we could have scored 4.

Very interested to see the line up for Sunday. Very little time to recover. Willy again surely Sagna Kola Boyata Mangala. Might as well play Yaya for his last match before the ACON. Fernando presumably. Love to see Brandon Barker and/or Ambrose given a go. Will fat Frank start?

That bugged me as well, especially since two of the other players who lingered were Kola and Milner, who I thought both were brought on to close the game.
