Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

There are posters on here like walmai and ian wright that are clearly not city fans but they give a balanced opinion and never purposely rile us up.

This phips cunt just pollutes the place and sticks the knife in everytime we're up against it.

What kind of a fan does that??

Every time someone goes on a tirade about Phips, I keep going back to see what all the fuss is about. I can never see what he's done to cause such a reaction
I really can't see what you're all getting wound up over.
He is as sarky as f**k, but then he is forever being called a cunt, so that's an understandable reaction.
I don't get it at all!

Agree with this.

Yes, phips is negative and abrasive but as someone else on here pointed out it's good to have differing views on a forum like this. You can always just ignore him.

Ignore the smell of shit, rather than remove the shit itself.

Nice.

Sorry Ronan, but I don't give a shit if he pisses you off, or Carl, Lee or any of the regulars. You are all big enough and ugly enough to handle it. My concern is that new members or people thinking about being new members could be turned off registering/posting on the forum because multiple threads have turned into shouting matches and not about the subject(which is fine, differing opinions and all that) but about the poster themselves.

If he was going to be banned, it would have happened by now. Obviously he has done nothing the lads/mods see as violating the rules. But as you believe he is trolling, the reaction is what he is after. He doesn't care if you dismantle his shitty POV or just type a stream of obscenities. Any reaction is his win, so yes...listen to someone other than yourself for once, put him on your FOE list and ignore him.

I've had a look at the rules Rona....sorry, OD and to be honest, Slim is right.
If you're going to ban him for a breach of rules then half the board can go too for political threads and disrespecting other board members.
You are right. He is a troll. But just don't reply if it upsets you.

And as far as him being a cunt.....sorry Mase, a C word. Well there's plenty of them on here. You just change the adjective in front depending on who you're referring to.
'Miserable' is the one that comes to mind here.

For what it's worth Phips, if you see this in the two per cent of the forum you read and you haven't yet foe'd me, I don't actually believe anymore that you are a City fan as that's the way you're writing style comes across.
I could be doing you a disservice there but I really don't think so.

If I am though can I ask you what you like best about Manchester City.

Ah, fuck it. The place is turning to shit with cunts like you giving it the 'Victim' card. Fucking hate that. Phips is well aware of what he is doing and loves to revel in his trolling, and as such, gets abuse for it.

I'm out.

Soft cunt. ;-)

I'll reserve that comment for yourself. Accusing people of bullying without any context to it. Nothing worse in my book and for that I'll take no part. You and Phips can crack on and I'll just ignore anything either of you have to say.

Have a nice day.

We've hounded off a few members on here in the past. I write we because I was a part of it. I found out that a couple of those members had reasons for posting the way that they did, be it mental or whatever.

I certainly felt a bit guilty about it and anyone else with half a heart should too.

I've also learnt in the past 15 years on this board that having a resident bad guy keeps this place ticking over. We currently have one who doesn't threaten other members and just posts it how he sees it, and it's a unique view too.

I didn't call anyone out because those that were bullying should know who they were. It was a gentle tap on the shoulder, nothing more.

No worries mate but are you saying Phips has issues?

Poor lad, we'll keep an eye out for him.

All the romanian media in the last two days were showing articles about Panti in the cup game where he broke some ribs of a player of Burton I think.

Anyway, finally I decided to watch the highlights and saw that the ref was none other than Mason,

If you recall, Anthony Taylor had a Champions League game instant after the game with Chelsea, then, the next weekend he was at Everton.

Did anyone get a week ban for fucking up our games? Or it comes with the job? The more you fuck City, the bigger the chance to become one of the FA fav refs?

thought Friend was good today.

another ref might've given a handball vs. Gabriel and/or penalized for a handball that led to Sterling's penalty.
Nice to have a good refereeing performance again. although Mike Dean is officiating on Sunday so it could be back to poor officiating.
