It's been an awful second half. Pedestrian like and all a bit predictable. No movement off the all not enough players getting in an around the box. Seems like a clean sheet is the priority!

Take it England have been slow and pedestrian with Shrek dropping deeper into midfield with him stopping any flow the other players have?

Even Scotland put five past Malta. A win is a win but that must be disappointing

Disappointing. The arrogance that we showed that half negated all the work we did the first. And that's why we get nowhere as the mentality is passed on from the seniors who haven't got a real grasp of what the national team is all about; it's all about them.

But we'll blow smoke up their arses and say they are the dogs but when they do the same and don't get a result the media will go to town.

Mentality change is needed. The FA will continue to accept but I think the apathy from many fans will have a deciding vote.

Anybody notice that it was all about Wiggy the 2bd half, as if they'd had a chat at halftime and decided Shrek had to get an assist or goal?

I don't thnk we have the players to create enough chances. We don't have the cutting edge of a David silva or a gazza. Simply not talented enough but no lack of effort for me. Henderson MOM? First time his name was mentioned in the 2nd half was for his award. Weird.

Ha ha ha, wtf is Family Wrecker doing there? I see he has had media trying now, understanding that thinking about what you say and using the pregnant pause is a big plus.

We do have players who will take risk but they won't do it in the England games, it's all about perception and how they will be seen when they move back to their clubs.

It's easier to allow Raheem to take the heat.

England were shit. far too many touches by all of the players. if they are going to break down the bank of 4 and 5 they needed some slick penetrative passing, one touch. it never happened and that's why England are shit, they don't have the ability and to only beat Malta 2-0 is embarrassing

Exactly.
it would be like us fielding a full strength side at home to Hartlepool and only scoring two.

The media and players can dress it up all they like. It was a poor day at the office

I am one of those fuckers who still stick by England but when I say disappointed I really mean it.

At least they looked a team the first half, second half we seen the individual mentality.

Is it just the player or what the media have forced them to become?

Probably a bit of both. The media big up the players and they believe the hype. They just aren't as good as they think they are

the well has been poisoned by player attitudes fuelled by absurd wages and a degenerate celebrity culture.

Correct. Not nearly as good as the press suggest we should be. Only 70 English players start in the prem each week and the national side choose 25 of them. England simply lack quality but still qualify every time. I have no complaints about effort, jus quality
