indeed, how could Dean not see that and the foul afterwards on Sterling.

They said VAR doesn’t review if a keeper is off his line or not. Yet against WHU VAR reviewed it and we got to retake the pen.

Was that not encroachment by defenders?

I think we got the retake at whu because rice had entered the box and he was the one who cleared it

That was for encroachment by the player who cleared it. Rice if I recall.

If gundo (or any other) can’t score from the spot we don’t deserve another chance. So ticked off with how wasteful we are. Who actually felt confident when we got that pen?

Ah okay. I thought the keeper was miles off his line. So it can check encroachment but not if a keeper is off his line. Weird.

Can’t believe we aren’t a couple up already, we have been that good. We’ve also snuffed out their attacks and dominated in nearly all areas.

Come on a City!

I don’t get this either!

He can do every type of pass, score from anywhere, takes an amazing free kick.

Yet never seems to an option for penalties.

He is a ginger, I can't trust a Ginger on penalties.

That got retaken because the defender who cleared encroached in the box. Why VAR is allowed to check on an infringement at one edge of the box but not the other is completely absurd.

Yes , but it was Reviewed !! that's the point . Had they not reviewed it they would not have picked up on encroachment .

Which is basically a con job.

Only if the encroaching player intervenes with play. For example if he clears the ball or tackles someone
